oH bOY...I think I messed up Panini's Customer Service on accident!

Okay here is the story....I have about 10 redemptions I am waiting on from Panini...the other day I got 2 emails notifing me that these 2 cards were shipped:

1) 2011 Panini Certified Freshman Fabric Bilal Powell New York Jets #285 ( / 499)

2) 2011 Panini Certified Mirror Blue Freshman Fabric Bilal Powell New York Jets #285 ( / 50)

What I got in the mail was 2 of the ones #ed to 499.

SO...I thought I was getting hosed out of my Mirror Blue one so I called CS and the said they were sorry about the mixup and since I had another redemption for the one numbered to 499 to just keep the 2 I have and they would ship out the Mirror Blue one #ed to 50 with some extra packs for free.

I thought that was very nice!!

Fast forward to yesterday...I get package from Panini with my Mirror Blue Bilal Powell card but no packs...no worries.

BUT then I got an email with a tracking number for the Mirror Blue redemption and it says that the package was sent out yesterday and I should get it Tuesday!

Does this mean they are sending ANOTHER Mirror Blue one with packs?

I guess I will wait and see...sounds like I will be calling them back and returning the 2nd Mirror Blue one....I don't want someone else to get shorted!

Dude keep the other Powell, trust me you will make someone estatic that panini ran out of Powell autos to send.....They will get a replacement for it, how can panini send a worse auto for a replacement

Its funny how a lot of you on here seem to think they will run out of cards. Its such a long shot that all the redemption cards ever get redeemed.

Also I'm sure that the person who pulls a Bilal 2 years down the road will be praying that they send something else.

How can we expect them to deal honestly with us if we don't do the same on our end. OP has the right of it here. Props for wanting to do the right thing.

The OP not only turns down ripping off Panini but does so with the fellow collector in mind.. Im impressed that the OP would even think of the person who may not get their card if they take an extra one. Thumbs up to you OP!

Better luck than I've had w/ them. They sent my Emmanuel Sanders NT RAP to my old address even though I had changed my address on their website. Then when I call I get forwarded to a VM and nobody calls back, filed the issue online and nothing. Love it!

Well I got the package from Panini today!

They sent me another:

2011 Panini Certified Mirror Blue Freshman Fabric Bilal Powell New York Jets #285 (1/50)

Kinda cool that is it number 1!! Ebay 1 of 1! Hahah!

I will be calling them in the morning to see what they want me to do.
