Thoughts on 2011 Contenders...

its contenders the one rookie card everyone wants and holds its value better then most. Check ebay compared to any other 2011 product and see if its being busted.

IMO this is the best product of 2011. Future is always bright for contenders!

Well the product was released 3 weeks ago. There have been a sh!t-ton of Contenders breaks on here. Look the break section 2 or 3 weeks back. TONS of breaks.

Great product every year, although Panini's redemption process treats me like dog poop. I love contenders every year, this year's look was amazing in my opinion. They stayed away from the foil which was nice, on-card autos look great. Only downfall is it's a condition sensitive set. Colored borders show chipping, and if BGS is honest, 9.5s will be hard to come by.

Agreed, Great looking cards. Glad they left the foil off this year. But the Condition sensitive nature of these will make Gem examples go for a premium. I have opened quite a bit, but not one Mint Auto card yet. The back of the cards all have chipping on the edges and corners.

I hated it... but that is because I busted a case and did terrible lol No SPs no variations, no Cam, A.J. Green or Locker...

I think the Autos are cool but the product itself is kind of boring looking. Just my opinion..

I cracked 4 and got solid hits in each box (Gabbert, Julio, Ingram, etc). The product has been great but I'm just too lazy to post my breaks.

Not smoking anything... Just a legitimate question. I happen to like this product and don't have anything against you, but it just seems like this years breaks are way down from last years breaks of Contenders. I realize it was released mid Feb. but it just seems like it's slow compared to last years breaks. We do have a little bit of a difference as to what "sh!t-ton" is though. Congrats on your case breaks from last year and this year. Remember, I do not smoke anything!!!
