some basic ? regarding grading submission.

I have never done any grading submission before, and I am thinking of sending some of my cards in to grade. So here are some basic questions.

What do you do with your card to get a good grade?
What kind of top loader you use before you send your card to grade?
What kind of postage you use? insure, delivery confirmation, register, regular etc...

any opinions would help.

Regarding shipping, ship using USPS Priority Mail and insure it.

To get good grades, you don't do anything to the card. If you can see anything noticable just from looking at it, I wouldn't send it in. Just look them over carefully before sending them in.
