eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices (http://www.ebay.com/itm/350544780482?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_1127)

Love this card, and now I can't bid on it because of a pretty obvious shill bidder. How frustrating. Was hoping this would fall under the radar to the HOF collectors and I'd be able to snatch it up :flex:

You mean a 99% bidding percentage w/ the seller is obvious? sheesh.. some people don't even try anymore. :p

jeeze, I was going to say nah, I think it looks ok (as I thought you were referring to the 145 guy that bid in small increments a bunch of times, which looks suspect, but happens quite a bit with people looking to get the high bid, but by the least amount possible), but then I clicked on the high bidder and he has 99% activity on 166 bids across like 40 auctions....wow.

The most frustrating part is that I want the darn card. It would sell super high anyways...and now he's lost a serious bidder because of the obvious shill.

I love how super sellers like this can basically do anything they want on EBay.

He's now on my list of people to never buy from.

And his Ali UD auto up for auction, surprisingly, has the same 99% bidder. Both are cards I would love to have for my PC.

No wonder the seller wasn't interested in ending early.....

He also has a couple of nasty Game used letters:

Magic:

2006-07 SP GAME USED MAGIC JOHNSON "BY THE LETTER" LETTERMAN PATCH #1/7, LAKERS | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-07-SP-GAME-USED-MAGIC-JOHNSON-BY-THE-LETTER-LETTERMAN-PATCH-1-7-LAKERS-/350544776900?pt=US_Basketball&hash=item519e18cec4)

and Wilt:

2006-07 SP GAME USED WILT CHAMBERLAIN "BY THE LETTER" LETTERMAN PATCH #11/11 HOF | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-07-SP-GAME-USED-WILT-CHAMBERLAIN-BY-THE-LETTER-LETTERMAN-PATCH-11-11-HOF-/330699438342?pt=US_Basketball&hash=item4cff38f906)

These are going to go for big bucks and may be shilled but thats the price you have to pay.

That Wilt letter is one of the nicest GU cards ever made in my opinion.

Yeah I want the Wilt. Tristan will probably get it though. Battling shills and richer people with awesome collections makes it quite hard to win your dream cards...

can you block a seller so you don't see their listings?

I am staying clear, though if I did not just buy my Epic Wilt auto I might take a run. There was a Wilt letter up on eBay for about a yerar that went for 1300+ if I recall so I imagine this one will land in the same territory.
