The Eagles are apparently about to sign LB Dan Connor. To be completely honest, I haven't followed him at all since he left college. Anyone have an opinion? Are there even any Panthers fans on here?

hes solid but carolina can do better. the eagles cant

ehh he was a backup here for a reason.There was a noticeable drop off everytime Beason was out and he was in during his time here.He is pretty good against the run but absolutely terrible against the pass.

Well thank you...that was some very detailed analysis.

ehh he was a backup here for a reason.There was a noticeable drop off everytime Beason was out and he was in during his time here.He is pretty good against the run but absolutely terrible against the pass.

Actual thank you...that's what I wanted to know. Oh well, if he's a depth guy, I'm ok with it.

Member on here (worldwidebrian) is a Panthers fan and keeps updated on them.

Dan is pretty good..hasn't lived up to his potential out of PSU..but he was a solid backup for us

As an Eagles fan he is a welcome addition to our Linebacking core, we have not had a consistent linebacker since Jermiah Trotter. I think Connor is a decent player, but we should still draft a linebacker in the first 2 rounds this year.

conner only played this year when beason went down for the season. He was a beast at penn state

monster at penn st, good special teams and fill in guy, dont think he will be an elite LB, as someone stated, hes a runs stuffer

Conner was a decent linebacker but was not entrusted with the leadership position or signal calling here on the panthers which is a must have at middle linebacker. We instead let james anderson call signals and he broke the panthers record for tackles. Dan Conner is a solid MLB though and I think he is better than what you already have in place. HIS tweets are pretty epic funny stuff too, if he leaves they will be missed. His speed is average so not great in coverage decent run stopper. Good guy stays out of trouble I think he would return in a hero role if he goes back to pennyslvania probably having full support he can grow in your system as a fulltime starter. Hope that helped any.
