@WojYahooNBA: Bucks and GSW have agreed in principle on trade to send Bogut & Jackson to W's for Ellis, Udoh & Brown.
My reaction:
OMG WAT WAT WAT WOIDHFOAWIEHFOIAWHEFIOE ELLIS GONE? OAEIFHOAWFHOIAWEFOIAWHEFIOH OAEFJOAWEHFOAIHFUIOEHIOFAHEIOFHAWEIOFHAWEOHFUOAWEHFUIOAWE

Surprised they are moving Udoh, I bet he was the key to it if the Warriors wanted the corpse of...I mean Bogut

Why would we want SJAX back to the bay?! That guy is a one man team!
Initial reaction here in Milwaukee area is that everyone hates the trade. Can't say I blame them.

Monta Ellis and BJennings together would be worth the price of admission, would probably also make Scott Skiles murder someone

What!?
Bogut is a shell of his former self he is hurt more than he is healthy, and probably dosn't have much left in the tank. Sjax is a decent player, but he is very selfish and is getting up there in age.
Ellis is one of the best scoring guards in the league, and he is a under-rated defender as well. Don't know much about Udoh, but Kwame Brown will probably be cut shortly.

Wow... it'll be the Milwaukee Chuck(er)s.
Gooden, Ersan and a pick for Dwight...? :P

From the research I did before this trade, my understanding is that if the team successfully traded Bogut, they'd put Jennings on the block as well. They probably don't have Jennings and Monta together in their future plans. The franchise was not very fond of Jennings publicly stating that he will do his homework on the big market teams.
Yep. The Knicks are NOT making the playoffs, unless they deal Melo...but that won't happen.
Great trade for the Bucks IMO, Udoh is solid and Ellis>Jackson all day. Also getting rid of the injury prone Bogut helps.

Yeah I was shocked that Bogut could bring back this much talent, regardless of downfalls with Udoh and Ellis, this is a good return for glass Andrew

Bogut and Curry together, I bet the trainers in Golden State are now excited

Huh. Apparently they had a deal for Jennings but it fell apart, so now they plan on keeping the duo of Jennings and Ellis.

Bogut is probably the 3rd best center in the league, and his injuries are not recurring, they are just freak accidents.
Ellis is a good scorer, but he is undersized, and he and Jennings is not a good combo.

Just read the news. This is great for Ellis and the bucks (assuming they have good chemistry together). They got a deadly starting lineup with this.

I hate this trade....Now we have a PG & C who have bad ankles, trade away our young big who was developing, another expiring contract for a guy with a broken ankle and another guy who was trouble when he was with the team before. Super.

It's on nba.com already pretty true already if they just all pass the exams.

I am a Bucks fan, and as big a Andrew Bogut fan as you will find. I hate that the Bucks traded Andrew, and I wish him the best, but my intial reaction is we made out like Bandits in this trade!
I do agree Jennings and Ellis in the backcourt is very exciting but I am not sure it wins more games. Love getting Udoh as well, somebody other than Ersan to rebound all the missed from Ellis and Jennings!
PS- Suprised that I saw the news first on Twitter from GB Packers QB Aaron Rodgers! LOL

Agreed. Throwing Udoh in there is the part that troubles me.
I guess this means we're in full tank mode to save our draft pick.
30+ minutes a game for Beidrins :flex:

Monta Ellis all smiles leaving GS Warriors for Milwaukee | Golden State Warriors | an SFGate.com blog (http://blog.sfgate.com/warriors/2012/03/13/ellis-on-the-move/)
The last quote from Ellis is pretty funny

If Bogut comes back healthy, I feel like he and DLee will be one of the best PF/C combos in the league.

All I can say about Ellis is this. No ball dominant point guard would want to play with him. I've always felt that he needed to be paired with low tier pgs like ridnour/hinrich/blake/etc. If the Bucks don't trade Jennings, I'll be surprised if he chooses to stay.

Not really that bad for the warriors, they finnaly get a guy who plays defense and blocks shots, jackson is a decent player, and now klay can get more minutes

i think warriors just really wanted to get rid of monta ellis so stephen curry can finally play his game. Looks like Warriors is now curry's team.

Here is an interesting tidbit: http://www.espnmilwaukee.com/common/more.php?m=49&post_id=7091
Here is what ESPN insider John Hollinger said about Ellis leading into the trading deadline:
"A fun little tidbit from the new stats gizmo at NBA.com: The Warriors are plus-15 this season when Steph Curry plays and Monta Ellis are on the bench but minus-119 when Ellis plays and Curry is on the pine. The season before, they were plus-23 with Curry and no Ellis but minus-191 with Ellis and no Curry. The season before that, the tally was plus-122 with Curry and no Ellis and minus-89 for the opposite.
So, for the three seasons those two have been together, Golden State has outscored its opponents by 160 points when Curry plays and Ellis sits despite being badly outscored overall. And, in the opposite situation, the Warriors have been outscored by 399 points.
In other words, if you're going to deal one of the two, you deal Ellis in a hot second. That's especially true now because nobody wants to deal for Curry until we know what's going on with his constantly sprained ankles. Although I think Ellis is overrated, he definitely has improved, and I can understand why Orlando in particular -- a team desperate for perimeter shot creators -- would want to take a look at him.
Ellis makes $11 million each of the next two seasons, but, as his tenure with Curry shows, he has to be paired with a big, solid defensive point guard who can cross-match with him. Even that is only a partial solution for the real problem: He just needs to play harder on defense.
I suspect the Warriors overvalue Ellis based on his gaudy scoring stats, and that, for that reason, he won't be dealt. Also, Golden State is probably feeling good about itself now that it's back on the fringes on the playoff race. Nonetheless, it's inevitable that the team will need to break up this backcourt for more frontcourt help. Ellis is a tough player to fit on a lot of rosters, but, with the right one (again, such as Orlando), he could be a very positive addition."
Doesn't sound that great for Milwaukee...

I don't believe monta ellis is a great star or will help the bucks win the championship. But bucks was able to get rid of stephen jackson and someone who's an injury liability. I think ekpe udoh was great piece to get since he's a young player who can do lot. Probably pretty fair trade for both teams.

look at it this way. Now you can expect the Bucks to score 10pts more on average. This is scary for a NY Fan bcuz the knicks havent done anything to improve.

dont believe that for a second. chemistry will play a big role. knicks fans should know that better than most. ellis can at least pass though.

Monta will be right behind Jennings on the Free Agent train. Stupid trade for the Bucks. Then again no one wants to stay and play for the Bucks any longer than necessary anyway.
