Was perfect through 6, did give up a walk in the 7th, but finished:
6.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 10 K's!
Now that's how you make a first impression. Unfortunately management must've had him on a pitch limit.

If Bumgarner and Alderson continue to progress, the Giants are going to have one hell of a starting rotation in 2-3 years.

He maybe proving the people who said he's better than Bumgarner right??

No, but he is very good. I hope they both succeed. Just let me pick up about 20 more autographs of each of them first :)!:D;)

Alot of people prefer Alderson based on his off speed stuff, myself I have no clue since I've never seen either...

I don't mean to sound like a dick but I am having a difficult time reading this post. I think the only correct spelling was Posey.

It just shows your lazy! You can at least get the correct spellings of players who are top 100 prospects. I mean how difficult is it to look up online and get the correct spelling.

English is a new language to alot of the "members" here. I keep the Tylenol close when reading some of the posts because before I finish I have a headache....prospects or not it takes a couple of seconds to spell properly
PS Sold my Elite Gold Alderson Auto /5 a week or so to soon

Thank you DadofTwins at least you understand it. I do think Alderson is going to be a decent pitcher in the bigs and their rotation should be a good one with Alderson, Bumgarner, Lincecum, and Cain.

No one is flipping out, they are simply asking people to take a little pride in what they post. Please watch the name calling. Thanks!

Just got back from the game. Bumgarners' first AA start went well. He won, and the highest I saw him throw was 93 mph. Scattered 7 hits over 6 innings, gave up 1 run, and made some great defensive plays, including a real nice 1-3 double play. Has a great pick-off move as well. The real story was Brandon Crawford, 3-5 with a single, double and triple. Waldis Joaquin pitched 7 and 8 and was CONSISTENTLY throwing 95 mph gas.
Also got some great souvenirs. During warm-ups got Brett Pill and Tim Alderson to sign my program, and in the 8th inning I caught a foul ball down the left field line, and after the game got Alderson to sign the sweet spot, and Crawford to sign right under that. Pretty cool Eastern League MiLB ball. I will try to scan the ball, my camera is busted. Pretty cool that my team, the Giants are so far from CT, but I get to see all the prospects as they work their way up:)!

Thanks for the story. I have probably been to over 400 baseball games in my life and have never even been close to a foul ball. Hopefully someday I will get one.

Wolffer, go to a single A game and you will get a ball if you try! I had never been to a single A game until this last weekend in Augusta and I could not believe how few people were there, how small the stadium is and how close you are to the field. It was litterally like a high school game. I was able to see Tim Beckham play Saturday. I guess I moved to Augusta a year late, the are a Giants affiliate and I'm pretty sure Bumgarner and Alderson both played here last year. I didn't recognize a single player other than Beckham who was on the visiting team.

Bumgarner is from the same hometown that I am from, so got to watch the kid growing up pitching in high school, and a few games last year when he was with Augusta, He has got some game, and he is a hell of a hitter, just doesn't get to show it now. This part of NC, well the card collecting community, is just waiting for him to get the call up. I have many autos, baseballs signed last year, so just hoping for him to make it.. then see what my collection is worth
