What are the vendors usually like at the show? I'm not really into IP autos but might go for some wax/singles.

Usually good deals to be had, if you look.

Dont blow your load all over one vender as soon as you arrive, though, then regret it by gawking at cheaper boxes all day.

Lots of tables, about 3 or 4 wax vendors and a ton of singles. Worth the 10 bucks but I should have taken the train, the walk from the parking lot is probably longer than from the train.
