Just signed for a mailer from Tri-Star. I guess they don't realize that there are soft sleeves made these days for extra thick cards ? Jeez at least act like you care a little, the extra thick sleeves don't cost that much. Luckily the card was so tight in the loader it doesn't appear to be dinged.

Cannot believe they didn't put it in a sleeve. Reminds me of a couple years ago when I had some redemptions for 2009 Exquisite booklets...UD sent the booklets to me in some of those nice, square box-type cases. Only problem was the case was way too big for the booklet and the card shook around all over the place while in transit. Arrived scratched up like crazy, but at least it was only the outside of the booklet.

How about those Legend Of Sport boxes? 3 or 4 cards per box, all auto's, all in top loaders but no sleeves.....

They figured there just trading cards, they think you spent $475 for the fancy tin and cool inner box. Have you seen the prices those tins sell for! Just look at the listings on eBay, "Cam Newton where?" you've all seen it.

Should be titled 'Mail day from Topps- Completely Believable'. It's amazing that they don't give the hired monkey's a quick tutorial on how to ship. 'Ok, penny sleeve, then case, and I guess piece of tape -since team bags are so expensive-'

Penta Star?
What is Tri Star?
I think collectors in general can't ship a card securely. Society as a whole has become lazy.
Just last week I received four damaged packages. One seller told me that I should be okay because the card was a low valued one. Who is he to tell me how I want to receive items that I purchase? Just because the value is low doesn't mean I want a trashed item. A gumball is cheap, but when you buy it you are expecting an unchewed gumball. Obviously, if I bought it I wanted it and most who want something want it in halfway decent concondition.
I hate religion, but one adage could be modified. Package and ship to others as you would expect others to package and ship to you.

Nice patch! Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in. It is a nice looking card though.
Stop your whining!!!! Be happy you got the card.

I was thinking the same thing...Be happy you got it and it wasn't damaged. My last 3 Topps redemptions have all been creased. Not worth my time getting a $3 card replaced esp when they wanted me to send them back on my dime:mad:
