11/12 Panini Contenders

original release date was Feb 15th.

still not out yet and apparently (I'm new to collecting) Panini is known for pushing dates back.

Any idea on a solid date? last I heard was April 16th...

should I wait or would SPA be recommended instead.

A million times YES YES YES. Sp Authentic was superior to Contenders last year in every way thinkable. Contenders was one of the last Panini products I ordered and was filled with trash breaks and TONS of duplicate hits per case. Avoid or be prepared to lose 80% or better.

Personally, last years Contenders was full of inserts, had poor resale value and was lacking. I would stay away from it. SPA is good year after after. Go with that.

As far as release dates, Panini is usually much better than UD. Last years Ultimate Collection, 3 month delay. As was Cup etc etc. Panini gets no love here!
