SO here's the story:
tYEwREEEk13 and I came to a deal on this stephen curry gold exquisite #/31. Obviously it was for a good amount and he was nice enough to agree to send me money order to avoid paypal fees.

He took all the precautions and got it delivery confirmation and insurance which cost almost $10 for just a regular package. We are both located in California so i figure it would take 2 days at most to get here, that was back in February 15th.
I waited after maybe 4 days and then wondered why it hasn't come. Tyreke told me the tracking number and i tracked it online and it didn't show any activity, only that i was accepted. So i waited some more and a lot more messages between us.
I knew he was a trusted trader and he knew i was a trusted trader and both agreed (or at least i believed) that there's just something wrong with the post office. After about 2 weeks, he went back to the post office to open a claim since he did put insurance on it. Post office says they'll investigate it and it'll take UP TO A MONTH! I could have really used the money and i'm sure tyreke would love to get the card but we were kinda stuck on the deal since neither us knew whats up with the product but luckily we both trusted each other. If it was a new user that i was dealing with, i probably would have just moved on and sold it to someone else. But month later i still held the card and waited for the post office to give us some answer.
And when i alerady given up hope, this arrived at my door! address are blacked out for both of our protection.

Notice the date that the post office postmarked was 2/16/2012 like tyreke said, and i just received it today 3/19. Over a month later!! Only probably 2 post offices were involved since we were frozen in space for both of us and i'm just glad it actually arrived. Post office better give back the $10 you paid for postage!:mad:
I'll get your card out to you tomorrow, hopefully you get it within a month :)!

No wonder they are losing money.
Congrats on some sick pickups and on getting your cards

I had received a package 4 months after the seller sent it. Though my package was ripped up and empty. Maybe some of the people at the PO forget to put the packages in the right place and then they forget about it.

And I guess your curry exquisite's were delivered just as slow as Currys Ankle recovery time :).

I think its Tye's post office. I sold him a Wall NT RPA and it took almost two weeks for him to get it and I sent it Priority.

Very confusing story, maybe its just your wording but i didn't understand who sent who the cards and why you still had the cards and thought you might sell them before you received the package? i understand it took someone a long time to eventually receive a package with just one card or all three shown above?

So a couple of years ago, I purchased a set of Volk Racing 18" wheels from my friend. He had to ship them from PA to FL, so he put insurance on them for all of them. He had to ship them in two separate boxes, I got the first box within a week, however the 2nd pair was somehow lost. I waited a good 3-4 weeks, and still nothing. I only have two wheels, so I told my friend whats going on? He went to his local post office and eventually filed the insurance claim. So even though I got two of the wheels, my friend got his insurance claim check for $1400 (Full price of the four wheels). So he sent me half the money, I guess it was fair, so I said sure. I eventually moved from my apartment to my friends house, and then I got a call from my old apartment saying I had a huge package for me. So I rushed on over there, low and behold, the second set of wheels came in! Took them about a month and a half. So I ended up getting all four wheels, and insurance claimed. Freaking USPS, I guess it worked out for me.

Yea but i doubt it'll work this time since they're still "reviewing the case" and i'm sure someone will figure out that its now delivered, but worth the try tyreke if u want to go through the trouble.

I bought a Kyle Lowry Jumbo Patch from a seller in Hawaii back in the summer 2007 (or 2008). The card never showed up and I thought it was gone forever.
Fast forward over two years and it shows up in my mailbox somehow.

Yeah it was crazy. It was about 800 days if I remember correctly. I had purchased it in the beginning of the summer of 2007 and received it late august 2009.
Couldn't believe it. The bubble mailer was so beat up and discolored it was ridiculous.

I was confused also.
So the package has the money orders in it? I am confused. :)
Anyway, I also shipped a card to Ohio about 1.5 month ago. The tracking status didn't change for 3 weeks and the buyer claim non-receipt, so I figured the card was lost and refunded the buyer. For the heck of it, I checked the status a couple days ago and it was delivered a few days ago. So it also took 1.5 month and, of coure, the buyer never said anything back to me about receiving it.
I think some packages get stuck to something or somewhere and mis-delivered to some where. If you look at the route these packages took, it always involved some states that it should not be going to. :)

actually here in minnesota last year there was a letter from a grade school class to someone that visited them one day. after they mailed the letter it somehow got stuck inbetween a couple machnes or a wall, and was not found until last year, it was mailed some 40 years earlier. they did deliver the letter and the person was stll alive with a great big smile about the story, lol.

It may sound confusing because crazymj didn't say what he was trading away. Wreek probably traded the curry and some cash(money order to be exact), for one of MJ's card(s). Right?

same thing happened with me. we tracked the package I sent and it was received, processed, and sent from the originating PO, then wound up in the regional PO where it was processed, but then the tracking stopped and never updated again. I tried tracking it a week later on USPS.com and it was taken out of the system and gave me a message "tracking info is not available, pls check USPS archives" or something to that extent.....LOL. I then opened up a case and USPS told me they would research and get back to me in no more than 2 days....never heard back from them. At this point, I sent the guy some extra cards and refunded him as I was fearing a neg, especially as the guy only had like 3 feedback at the time. Luckily it turned out he was a nice guy and gave me a positive. Well a couple days ago (package sent on 11-9-2011), the guy messages me and tell me he just got the package in! He asked for my Paypal to re-pay, but I told him to keep it (was maybe a $10 card...I honestly can't even remember)...

LOL Not gonna bother with the claim or anything. I'm not out to rip off the USPS, I'm just glad to see my package FINALLY got to Yi and now I'll be getting my Aminu Next Day Auto and Curry Exquisite GOLD!!!!! According to the tracking, the package got missent to LAS VEGAS somehow..and took a month for them to figure out how to send it back to LA?!? WOW!!!!
Hahahaha PAT, yeah...dunno about my post office here, but the post office you sent your Wall RAP to was different...as I use the post office near my work, and also the one near my house. Your card actually arrived on time...but they never put the "pick up your package" slip in my mailbox!!!
Just glad this is a happy ending... and I want to say thank you to Yi for being REALLLY COOL about the whole situation. Looking forward to our next deal...hopefully involving money coming MY way as I'm broke! LOL
