I understand why the Wizards made the trade last week, but it just seems a little puzzling as to why they would give up Javale McGee just yet. As of now their draft pick has the second best chance at getting the #1 pick in Anthony Davis. That frontcourt would have been CRAZY defensively and the offense could be like a mini lob city. Just the possibility of having two super talented and athletic big men like that blocking any shot within 8 feet of the hoop just seems too good to pass up. What do you think?

I've been a Bullets fan all my life and they never cease to amaze me. Now I don't know the locker room dynamics sp I can't speak to that but to give up Nick Young avg 16.6 / game and a 7 foot 250lb beast for a second round pick, Brian cook, and Nene is horrible imo. 24 vs. 30, 11.9 PPG vs. 13.4, 8.8 RPG vs. 7.4, 2.5 blks vs. .9. Most important McGee healthy Nene recovering from injury and cant even play! Nene salary 5 years 68 mil, McGee $3.5 mil. You can fix discipline but you can't fix injured and aging, especially at center they vo downhill quick.

They needed to get rid of Blache, fans hate him, he can't back up his talk and he drains the positive energy of the team.

look at the other players they have traded and cringe Rip Hamilton, Rashees Wallace, Ben Wallace. Basically the core of the their 6 straight eastern conference finals Pistons and their 2004 championship team. Ugh.

They also helped Dallas quite a bit with their championship team.

I was already collecting McGee but I just loaded up bigtime! As a Wiz fan obviously i HATE this trade but a collector all the money I make on McGee rookie cards will ease my pain a bit...

How has Chris Singleton looked? He was quite the defensive specialist in college. His offense could have been stronger and he needed to control his emotions. He was notable for his frustration fouls.

He really has done much of anything. Shoots 0-4 times a games makes about 40%. Nothing really notable. I'm sure we'll see a lot more from him Wednesday if Nene isn't playing.
