Toledo Mud Hens vs. Pawtucket (Matsuzaka pitches)

was out to lunch yesterday when I got a text from the local AAA team saying Dice-K was pitching today so we instantly bought tickets. He gave up 2 runs in the first and 3 hits but then shut them out the next 4 innings and worked very quickly. His fastball topped at 94mph but also threw in the mid 70's. This was his last rehab start. Toledo has a great stadium.

My fiance also got Clay Buchholz to sign a ball, he flipped it so it wouldn't be on the sweet spot though, lol.

Man, I picked the wrong day to go. I was there last night... a day after Buchholz throws a gem and a day befoce Dice-K pitches. Damn!

Buchholz went 9, 4h's, 11k's that game. it was a 1030am game for school kids. Must've sucked for them seeing a 10 inning 1-0 game, actually most of the kids probably went home before the game ended since it was for school.

Eddie Bonine for the Mudhens pitched 9 innings that game and only gave up 1 hit.
