I usually do 7 days auctions ending on a Sunday at 3-5pm Arizona time. Prices aren't great so i'm going to change that. when do you guys have the best success?

I like thursday night around 10-11 est. That way people on the west are home from work

Thrusdays are the second best imo. I think Sunday's are still best. Only thin gI would say OP is push it a little later to end about 10-11 Eastern or about 9-10 Central. I never know what that is in Arizona since you guys don't do the daylight savings time.

I agree with Dave, late Sunday night is what works best for me $$$ wise, Thursdays are second best, IMO. Although, for anything over $100ish, BIN/BO seems to be the best for me! :)!

Sunday nights from 8-10 pm EST, followed by Monday nights with the same time frame has always given me the best results.

if the item or items that you are selling are hot then when it ends really does not matter (of course not 3am )

With sports stuff, I always shoot for 8-9 CST. With non-sport items, I shoot for 5 CST so that it is not too late for the folks in the UK. Either way, with so many people using sniping programs, it is not as big a factor as it used to be.

I usually do Tuesday or Thursday nights, between 8-9 Central. I also sometimes do Sunday nights when it's not football season.

To summarize: NOT WED, FRI, or SAT.

i have the best luck for $10+ items with a BIN/BO

when i used to do auctions i would end them sunday @ 8-10est, or thursday 7-10est.

never ever ever end an auction on saturday... too many people still observe the sabbath(i think that is how it is spelled). i have had 4 or 5 potential bidders on big ticket items actually message me and tell me to end a specific item on a friady or sunday before. now they just hit the Best Offer button.

I have to agree here - I just don't trust auctions anymore. Maybe if I had something like a very low numbered prospect auto, but just been burned too many times. If I do auctions now it's only to get free listings, and I set up the starting prices/BIN so it's basically fixed price, but I don't have to pay 50 cents on it.

It's actually surprising how people will hit BIN on something even though you have it priced over what you think it'll go for. Just requires more patience, but definitely worth it, and you don't have to worry about ending times or fret because everyone is waiting to snipe your card so it still has 0 bids with 2 hours left.

Friday/Saturday nights are the worst times to end auctions, too much going on and too many potential buyers out with families/on dates/partying etc.
