While I will preface this story by saying that Topps has really stepped up their customer support in my personal experience.

I am having another issue with them fixing a card. I have a Ben Revere 2011 Bowman Sterling 1/1 Red with a sticker auto.... the sticker is by far one of the worst out there. I sent it in, only to have it sent back with their generic form stating that it does not fall outside of printing guidelines. I ask the humble users of the forum to give me their opinion.

Thanks as always!

Is it placed wrong? I'm not seeing a problem with it beside a bad auto by Ben. Nothing they should do about that IMO.

Its not placed wrong, the top of the auto is cut off... its extremely streaky. Added a better image and centered it

Meh. Yeah, it sucks that they put a crappy auto on a 1/1, but it's not damaged by any means. No way in hell they're going to replace that. I, too, have a 1/1 with the autograph running off the sticker. I wish they would be more careful with that, or just do all on-card for the low-numbered ones, but that's obviously too much to ask. Go look at the Tom Brady upside-down 1/1 auto on the football boards and be glad you're not that guy.

That is all on Ben. His auto is brutal now, probably one of the better stickers for him. Even on his on card 2011 Topps Chrome autos he signed almost all of the like crap. Thin wispy streaky. He doesn't put any pressure on his pen. Too bad he doesn't sign like he did in 2007 when signed every letter of his name like printing. Nice and bold on those. He went from that to pure crap sig he has now.

Ive looked at a ton of his 2011 Sterling autos and they're all better than this... I really not understand why a non serial numbered card would have a better one..l or why they wouldn't just peel and put another one on to satisfy their customer....

I decided to take a quick look at some of my 2011 Bowman Sterling Revere autos. The sad thing is all of mine are better, and obviously I don't have the same quality of card. I also noticed how drastic his signature seemed to change, usually someone is more consistant. For the record I do not collect Ben Revere, just 2011 Bowman Sterling.

I like topps but I just dont understand this kind of stuff. Ive seen them mess up so many 1/1 cards just because of stickers like this. Its a 1/1, dont you think your customers would appreciate if you took the time to make it look nicer than the $2 version cards?

That is the one thing I forgot to mention, at least put a better sticker auto on a 1/1.

I personally would try to replace it...and keep trying. While I can see the argument of people saying you should just keep it, it is a pretty pathetic sticker. If it was mine, I would keep bothering them, until they helped me out.

Did you just call/email the regular CS #/email? If so, pm me, and I'll give you the head of CS's contact info....If I can find what I did with it :x

I'm already talking to the head of CS. They've resolved alot of my issues with other cards and been very pleasant, but they're still giving me the runaround on this card. Hopefully they'll respond to my emails and I can get something done on this card tomorrow.

Peel the sticker and get Ben to sign it on-card with a nicer autograph. He actually can take his time with a decent sharpie.

Why does everyone think Topps won't do anything? Are we all conditioned to accept crap? I'm going to continue to complain about their products to them if they're not up to standards... If it were a non serial numbered one I wouldnt care... It's a 1/1! If it was an on card auto and it was crap I would have that much of an issue.. It's a sticker auto.... They should be embarrassed that this got passed quality control.

Well... it figures... the person that I was talking to in regards to this card and several other issues is no longer with the company! Awesome! So, after being sent to 3 different people, I get a rude woman who says she knows nothing about this and to send her an email with the info.... bravo Topps....
