need a little advise

well i am looking to move my Calvin Johnson collection and was trying to think of the best way to do it. i know if you sell the cards 1 by 1 you will prolly make more, but i am trying to move these sooner then later. I put the lot on ebay just to see if i get anybody that is really interested in the whole lot. if i sell it that was that would be great. but i was thinking of doing some sort of raffle system and sell slots(everybdy would get something). just trying to get ideas on how you guys would go about it. And i guess the biggest point is i don't want to jsut move them to move them. i have a alot invested in these and don't wanna lose aot(i understand i will prolly not make money).

any help would be awesome

Firstly, selling now is a bad time, as 2009 products are hyped up and it is not football season...
That being said, you should sell all the higher end ones individually, and maybe some RCs as a lot, because it will be hard to find a huge Calvin Johnson collector to pay so much.

ya i know now isn't the best time, i was just gonna try and sell them as a whole for the next couple months and if they don't sell i am going to put them away for around 2 yrs(which i know they will sell better,lions won't be as bad a team)

That sounds like s pretty smart idea, no harm in testing out the market.

You could always try Naxcom, you set the price and do not pay any fees until they sell. At a minimum, you could use this for extra exposure for the cards.

there's also a guy on here that is a hardcore collector of Calvin Johnson. I believe his SN is GTDave or something around that nature. He collects him and has quite a great collection of him as well. With that said I wish I could buy that off you but that price is pretty steep. I would honestly wait till the season starts to see if the Lions can get the ball to Johnson w/ Staffords cannon arm. Calvin was having great years w/out a legit QB, now he has Stafford who has a cannon as an arm which I think will equal in a lot more yds and longer TD runs. GL w/ whatever you decide to do.
