The serial numbering is skewed. Because of the 2 Full Badges, subtract 2 from your card number to get the serial number. I.E. R10 is actually 08/18, R11 is actually 09/18 and so on.

That one card was the $10k card everyone was chasing. Anyone looking to build a set could easily buy a master set or piece it together for far less than $2,250 or whatever the last two cases sold for. They were chasing this card and the last few patch pieces (to a far lesser extent).

Singles have increased in price with the boxes, but not enough to rationalize $200 a box. The chase was the extra incentive.

Just curious, did you really purchase 2 cases? If so, mind tellin us how much you paid? I haven't seen any other case purchases since the $2250. I understand if you do not want to say, or you just told them that to get the info about the patch.

Everyone thought pop century boxes would drop after the JFK was found and I was the only one to say otherwise; sure enough, no such drop took place. I said it then and I will say it again: overall content and supply/demand dictate wax prices, not one willy wonka golden ticket.

the fact the show is off the air til october is the single most likely reason for a minor dip, but come october, they will be the hottest non-sport boxes on the planet. my advice to those with wax is to sit on them until october.

I think box prices will dip, mainly because I don't think there will be as many buyers at the current price once word of the full patch redemption being found hits the masses. Rarity of unopened product will still keep the price point strong, but I think actual sales will be few and far between.

That was honestly a typo. I meant to say 2 boxes. I had been asking the same question on these forums and decided to go straight to the source. I'm actually surprised that they told me.

Personally I'm saving my money for The Game ofThrone cards coming in June now. With the second season going right now, those should be huge.

Not to question hellfish's posts, but is anyone at least questioning whether R1 has truly been redeemed? If you click the link above, the Cryptozoic site itself says it has NOT been redeemed. (And they show R5 as having been redeemed, which we didn't know on this thread.)

I just think to make the determination that R1 is gone without seeing it or hearing anything official from Cryptozoic (publicly) is a bit premature. Maybe the person who wrote to hellfish was confused?

Been picking up "cheaper" boxes for the last few months and bought 5 off ebay last week and pulled it in one of those boxes (along with 2 sketch cards) I opened on Wed. Actually was so excited that I missed that it was R1 until I finished opening the rest of the boxes and realized what I had. Defiantly had a hard time sleeping that night since I've been itching to find a badge card, but this was defiantly unexpected. I quickly sent it off Cryptozoic yesterday and they got it this morning. Honestly, I was a little worried about throwing it in the mail, but what can you do. Haven't received any confirmation from them yet, but I will send an email over the weekend or Monday making sure it ended up in the right hands.

I actually bought around 10 boxes from Blowout, but decided to start saving some money buying from other people if I could buy enough of them at once. However, I generally agree with what you said. Just got lucky.

Same lol. The one time I sold any boxes was when I bought 4 2011 Topps Magic when they first came out. I opened two and sold the other two for a premium. I got nothing but the guy let me know he pulled a Murray cut signature out of one. It was only a $70 card and I was bummed, but I would feel physically ill if I knew I did that to this card haha.

What will Cryptozoic do with the those left? Will they extend the redemption date?

Should Cryptozoic add these into the S2 release?

I was wondering the same thing. I would rather they destroy them and only leave 12 but that's because I have one.

On the other hand, I want a 4 color so I may want to see these released.

I realize this is a very old thread. Does anyone know where an archived page for cryptozoic is that shows the patches that were pulled/redeemed. Didn't they actually track and show pictures of all of the patch cards?

I was able to go back to 2018 and pull up an archived page from the Cryptozoic website.

This snapshot was from Feb of 2018.

Follow the link below and it still has the redemption info at the bottom of the page. I tried newer dates, but by 2019, the redemption info was gone from the site.

Outside of contacting Crypto, this is the latest info I personally could find on the Crypto website. Some script will show up, just hit the "OK" buttom to remove it. Link is https.
