View Full Version : Might Not Be The Worst Case Of 2011 NT But If You Want Bad, Look Here

First off, I just want to say that I’ve had some awesome luck with stuff from Blowout lately. I got the first pull in a Five Star break and got the Aaron Rodgers jumbo SB 45 patch and I pulled a Walter Camp Cut Signature 1/1 out of SportKings Series B. So, my good luck was bound to catch up to me. It happens and I’m used to the ups and downs of opening cards. It doesn’t make the sting any less though.

There were some good cards in this break but just the wrong people for resale value. This may not be the worst case, but it certainly is a bad one.

I do have some gripes about the product in general though:

1. John Denney as a hit??? I am as big a football fan as anyone but I had no idea who this guy was. Turns out he is the long-snapper for the Dolphins. Why is a long-snapper in a box of the highest end football. I don’t care that he made the Pro Bowl last year. He shouldn’t be in this product.
2. I feel like 8 plain rookie auto’s in a four box case is too much. Box four was ridiculous with 3 RC auto’s and a dual Pen Pal.
3. I hate the NFL Gear dual and triple cards. We shouldn’t get Gridiron Gear cards in NT.
4. I hate the leather auto cards as well. We shouldn’t get Timeless Treasures rejects in this product.
5. Even Panini can’t get the 2011/2012 thing right for NT. The inside boxes say 2011, which it is, but the label on the outside of the case says 2012.

Here is the break. Nothing is for sale or trade as I am dealing the entire case to one person.

I dont think FSU posted it but the case him and I split was WAY worse. Dareus, Vareen, and Gates were our RPAs. Best hit in entire case was prov terrell Davis autograph. It was attrocious.

Yeah, that's why I said it wasn't the worst because I knew there would be worse.

I just wanted everyone to see that there aren't Cam's and Reebok logos and multiple 1/1's in every case.

There were some decent cards in this break, but I just got the wrong players.

You win some and you lose some, and then you just move on to the next break.

Sorry about the break, but thanks for posting. You are definitely right in that not every case has some super amazing card. My LCS did a live break of their first case and it was turrible. I think their best RPA was Vincent Jackson.

worst case i was actually part of was last year group break nati treas elsewhere.the best hit was a demaryious thomas rpa outta it.nothing booked over 100 so i feel youre pain bro!
if you notice right on release you'll see all these amazing hits rodgers,cams/1/1's and if you watch it over the next 3 months itll slow down insanely hit wise.its a marketing ploy to get everyone all jazzed up,thinking theyre ALL gonna hit insane cases.just like when they send a loaded box/case to beckett or other huge review sites.
