I'm thinking about going and wanted to see if anyone has tips or suggestions. I heard that tickets are free but you'd probably have to line-up early for them. I appreciate any info guys.

Try to be outside before the draft starts the players are very generous on giving autos

Yeah - it was the biggest waste of time ever - drinking beers at home with the guys is 100X more fun

I went in 2007 when it was still Saturday/Sunday - so maybe it has changed.

I can't see any reason why I'd subject myself to that. It's not really a spectator sport.

I didn't go for the first day....I went in the second just to see it. But I used to go to ESPN Zone, when it was still there....and that was awesome.

I'm going to Giants Stadium (MetLife) this year.

If you could get autographs then it may be worth going but I can barely stand watching it on TV. I still watch it and tune out the wifes nagging voice of turn the damn channel and lets watch something.

I can only imagine. I am going to Green Bay to watch it so my girlfriend won't be able to do that.

I really love the draft and figured it's something worth experiencing. With the first round now a primetime event, it looks like it could be a great time for a draft junkie like myself. Plus I can actually see Kiper's epic hair live and in person.

Oh I'm a draft junkie - which is part of the reason it's so dumb - all the true entertainment value and info is watching it on TV. Live it's just sitting around.

Maybe if you live in NYC and are just bored - but considering I was in town for like 5 days it was the dumbest decision ever to go. It was so boring live. It's 1000x more enjoyable on TV with friends and a few cold ones.

Is it possible to be within earshot of Kiper?
