Sounds like his Major League debut will be Saturday against the Royals.

Dang....was hoping you were going to say Travis Snider.

He's in Bowman this year right? Another reason for price bumps if this guy comes out smoking?

Yes indeed, although I wouldn't expect him to dominate at the Major League level.

:)!

Is this a quick look due to an injury (spot-start) or could this be a permanent gig?

He's at least two years away.

Hutchison, in my opinion, has a chance to be a shaun marcum clone. He won't be an elite starter, but he could fit into the middle of the jays rotation going forward. He's probably already better than brandon morrow!

Morrow is frustrating. Power pitcher w/ no control. A HR hitters dream. Hopefully he harnesses it one day. Would like to see him succeed. :)!

The thing that is frustrating about him is that 2 years ago he seemed to figure it out. He was operating at 90-92 with his 2 seamer and getting absurd late life on it. Then all of a sudden he was back to throwing his flat 96 mph fastball and getting crushed. I hope he figures it out, but as time goes on, I'm starting to doubt his #2 upside. I think worst case he can settle in as a 4, but that is way below what the jays need him to be.
