Dylan Bundy makes his second home start on April 24

Salisbury, Md. - Orioles top rated prospect, Dylan Bundy, is scheduled to make his second start at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium on Tuesday, April 24 against the Greenville Drive. He will be countered by Matt Barnes, the Red Sox first round selection (19th overall) in the 2011 draft. Tuesday is also McDonald's Two for Tuesday.

Bundy, 19, will make his fourth start of the season. He has retired 27 of 28 batters through three starts and has not allowed a hit over nine innings pitched. Bundy has 15 strikeouts and just one walk.

Barnes, 21, has also been outstanding for the Greenville Drive. In three starts, he is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA. He has 25 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched. Barnes played his college baseball at UCONN.

MILB.TV lists the Greenville Drive as a participating team in the TV broadcasts, but I don't see a link to watch it on tonight's list. I don't know why.

Bundy is done for the night: 4 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K. Barnes has 9 K over 4 IP...(just hit 100 MPH vs Delmonico!)

He's thrown 13 IP now with 21 K, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB...and has only faced one batter over the minimum! Nuts!

His FB was sitting at 98 MPH.

Ditto. Bought two base for $60 per. What's frustrating is that they were mailed on 4/14, and nothing yet. The tr# says when it left, and nothing more.

if there are no centered golds available, still don't buy a sterling. wait for a decent gold to show up and spend the extra money.

Is that what you would tell people about Hosmer, who like the Sterling better, but would need to spend more on the sterling....Get what you can afford now before they take off even more, and what ever looks better to you....Sterling is still a top bowman product and sure the stickers take a way a bit, but still make for nice looking cards

I think he finishes the year in High A. He should have started there in the first place, but I doubt they jump him 2 levels in his first year.

Never know with College Pitchers. I can't see him in Low A much longer. I didn't think Sonny Gray was that far ahead of Barnes coming out of school, was only selected the spot in front of him and has been solid at AA so far. Bauer is obviously a different story than all of them. It would be a stretch, but I think he could be there by the end of the year. After Ranaudo, he is definitely the best Sox SP prospect

I'm hopeful Barnes could be making a play for the rotation by 2014.

He's in Low-A now......I'm speculating AA by end of year. (they've got a tight leash on him but he is gonna FORCE them to send him to Frederick very soon)

I could see Barnes being there some point this year, he should at least be in Salem, Greenville is a joke for him.
