Reyes could be out until the All Star break maybe a little longer, Putz is def hurt and needs surgery to remove an elbow spur, Delgado is probably done for the year, Church is trade bait, Beltran cries when his tummy hurts, Wright looks like crap and we have no 5th starter....good times! :)

Rumors are the Mets are really going to try and see who or what Houston wants for Carlos Lee. They dont have the prospects to trade for Matt Holliday. They would have a better shot in getting Lee because of his huge contract.

Even if they do trade for an outfielder they still need pitching.

Sigh,, thats my rant for the morning...:(

In other NL East news, Cole Hamels sure looked good last night. Maybe this is the year the Phils jump out to a huge lead and the Mets catch them from behind in September ? ;)

Looks like they could have an interesting 7-9 come August of Wagner, Putz and KRod if they can hold on that long
