As long as he comes back healthy, I have no doubts.
The surgery was pretty much expected. He'll sign with Minny before training camp starts in July.

He's coming back IMO... I'm not excited about him coming back, but if you can do what you love, WHY NOT!
There will be so many people rooting for him to fall flat on his face and that's understandable.
I think he will have a shot with the offense this team should be able to muster, but the D and health (for him, AP, and Percy Harvin) will be huge.

He needs to retire & give it up. I hate when athletes say they are going to retire, but never actually do.

Favre is an upgrade from Jackson or Sage...I would be pleased to see Peterson have a QB that can take a little pressure off of him...Atleast Favre can throw downfield...now if Berrian can step up...we might be in good shape

Yeah, one more WR and they'd be complete, after Favre. Can't wait to see how they do. Up to this point defenses were focusing on AP and some teams even shut him down. Now with an air attack, he should produce even better #'s!

Berrian/Harvin/Rice Trio on paper looks pretty darn good. and with Bobby Wade as the #4 WR Favre wouldnt be short of Options at WR- he also has 2 pretty darn good TEs Visante Shancoe had a career year in 08

Stay retired Favre, please. I am so tired of this circus. I really don't think he would be much of an upgrade if he plays like he did with the Jets the end of last year. Some people are way to in love with the Favre of old. He isn't the same player anymore.

Again, I don't have a problem with Brett Favre wanting to come back, just the fact that he lied to the Jets so he could go to the Vikings. Couldn't the Jets sue him?

I don't think so. I think you'll see Jackson go first. They do not want to make the same mistake they made with Tyler Thigpen.

I made some money on Thigpen! I just get irritated when they never drop his name when talking about the QB situation with the Vikings. Oh well, I'm all ready invested.
