W/O CP3 clippers lose all close games........with him they WIN the close ones. True leader right there.

I thought he was the best PG in the league ever since his rookie year.
You thought he was better than steve nash in 05 or 06?

Is one entitled to his own opinion?

What a frustrating game. Refs calling nothing for the Clippers and calling everything for the grizzlies. I really think 2 of the refs had money on the grizzlies and i'm glad they lost their money (unless they took the spread) And then clippers almost blew it by missing free throws and allowing grizzlies to get uncontested 3 pointers back to back. It could have gone really bad for the Clippers today. Hope to see a more blow out game on Monday even tho it was probably more exciting when it was close.
Yeah, it was ridiculous when OJ Mayo tackled cp3 then kneed him and nothing was called. Clippers got some calls that went their way too though, that technical foul on speights was in essence the difference in the game
I mean, if you are talking healthy ones, sure he is. But C'mon man, D-Rose anybody?

About time people realise he is the Man at PG, He carried a useless Hornets Roster for years to the Playoff's and now he pulls a Team that has not seen the playoff's for year's straight to the playoff's and giving them some success have to wait and see how far they go , the Grizzles/Clips series is far from over .
No wonder Stern Vetoed the Lakers trade , they would of been scary with Paul.
Paul
Kobe
Peace
Gasol
Bynum

DRose aint got squat on Paul , We will have to see how Rose adapts when he rehabs , if he loses his spring then all the rack Driving is gone then what?
And Rose is more a Shoot first PG , IMHO i have him at the 2 spot but hey that's me .

As one of the biggest Tony Parker Fans in the world.... I would have to say, I think you are right!
TP did a better job in doing what the team needed to get the wins (meaning playing only the required minutes and taking the slack for Manu and Duncan to rest), and TP lacks the 2 lob receivers which give CP3 at least 3 assists a game, but overall, CP3 has been a better PG for mine!
As much as I have full faith in Parker, I would give CP3 the ball in clutch situations before Parker!
I can't believe I just wrote that :(

To bad your wrong.... Pau was going to the rockets and i think Bynum might have been going as well. And a bunch of the bench.
Chris Paul is an amazing player. But he isnt the best PG.

Correct. Gasol was heading to the Rockets. Bynum though was then going to be shopped to the Magic for Dwight Howard so that team would have been insane.

Yeah I forgot Pau was involved in the trade, not sure about Bynum though?
That's why we have what's it called ?
That's it Opinions .
In your Opinion who do you have as the Best PG running ATM?

The original trade was Odom and Gasol for Chris Paul.
If you want a PG to be a floor leader, wins games for you.....YES, he is the best PG in the NBA right now. If want a look to shoot first PG, then there's some stiff competition.

To me Rose and Westbrook are more like Point Scorers.
They look to score first.
Chris Paul is one of the last true PG's remaining. Can make a difference in the game by doing everything a PG has to do; run plays, make decisions, get people involved, and when needed he can score and can shoot the three. And his defense is not that bad considering his size.
Has been the best PG for years.

probably the smartest player in the league as well..
besides cp3 yesterday..the clips shot 6-22 from the ft line..game shouldnt have been as close as it was...
the clips ft shooting will probably bite them in the ass later inthe playoffs..

I also think CP3 has been the best PG in the league for a little while now. Nash is awesome, but CP3 would instantly make ANY team a contender.

shouldn't this be titled 'rajon rondo is the best PG in the NBA'
haha jk
i think there is def. a good argument for best pg in the league right now but it really comes down to whether you want a shoot first or more truer of a pg. i still think paul would be number 1 cause he can score.
i think top 5 right now are:
Paul
rose
westbrook
parker
williams
nash is right there too..
not necessarily in that order

My number would be Rondo. He scores, leads the league in assists, and he rebounds. He is so tricky too. Also i look at the teams. I would have Deron up there but as long as he stays a Net, i dont see him cracking the top five. Nash is top three also.

Rondo is a better PG, CP3 is a better leader and one of the best closers in the game.
