hey will...u ever read this book?
Loose Balls - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loose_Balls)
read it along time ago (i think it was written in 1990) really funny and insightful...
im thinking you might enjoy it as you are such a student of the game..

It's on my list of books to buy :) I've heard it's very good.

I got so many basketball books for my Birthday last week, it's crazy! I love old books about the history of the game though. I got the following:

"100 Greatest Basketball Players of All Time" by Sachare.

"Cages to Jump Shots: Pro Basketball's Early Years" by Robert Peterson.

"The Game Changer: How Hank Luisetti Revolutionised America's Great Indoor Game" by Philip Pallette.

"24 Seconds To Shoot: The Birth and Improbably Rise of the NBA" by Leonard Koppett.

"Basketball: A History of the Game" by Alexander Wolff.

"The Biographical History of Basketball" by Peter Bjarkman.

I strongly recommend the last one in particular.
