Nope..there were 2008 variations. There was also the one w/o the iron man mask and actually had Downey's face. Those are more favored since it was released before the Rittenhouse ones

I was searching Webjon on for this one, but found nothing. I've seen the one with Downey's face too, and that one is closest to the first one I posted. I've also seen a upper deck prominent cuts downey auto which is basically a scribble. Maybe he's just a sloppy signer, but yeah could use Webjon on this.

The one showing his face, was inserted into the Rittenhouse packs. The one in his Armour was a internet exclusive or dealer exclusive - I forget at the moment.

They are all real. Downey signed alot real nice, some with the R and scribble and a select few with the 2008 inscription. He did this with both the Tony Stark pack inserted autos and the Iron man autos.

As AceGambit said there is a huge variation in these signatures, these both look ok to me.

Saw those as well and was a little concerned about authenticity. Was more concerned I saw one seller selling 8 to 10 or those card. Is that unusual? I thought those cards originally sold for nearly $200 new. Do people buy in that large volume?

From what I've been told (still trying to get a confirmation) is that the Iron Man auto was an exclusive from Rittenhouse for Hobby Account holders. No word on how many you were limited to buy but that there was only 150 produced.
There was a dealer I spoke to that told me he was allowed to buy 10 but didn't say if others were able to buy more.

As for the Tony Stark Auto, word was 50 were made, 10 had the "2008" inscription and was only inserted into packs.
