My newest addition to my celebrity female collection...these rarely popped up until a seller on ebay busted open 10,100 packs and managed to pull 6 autos. There are about 250 autographs in circulation according to UD.

A few years ago, the local comic shop was closing and the owner begged me to buy 3 unopened boxes of these cards for $15. I passed. Regrets? I've had a few. lol.

I was watching all of those, interested to see what they'd go for. That card has been strong at $250+ for nearly a decade. I remember buying out a store on those boxes way back in about 2003 for 10 bucks each. Didn't hit an auto but people paid around $10 for just the base set itself at the time. But, anyway, you're right on scarcity. It's very rare that even one shows up for auction once or twice a year... let alone six at once! It got my attention but I passed on adding one. You got a great card, for sure. Since no company makes well designed/auto'd music cards, that's a gem to hang on to.

Turns out the seller that I bought it from is listing her LAST one that she pulled out of the 10,100 packs of Christina Aguilera. So you guys better jump on it. They normally go for $600+ when I first heard about it a couple years ago and was trying to hunt one down. VERY VERY RARE and DIFFICULT to actually find this card.
Also, just FYI..she actually had all 6 graded by PSA 4 out of 6 received a PSA 7 and only 2 got a PSA 8. The one I purchased and this one that she has up on auction were the PSA 8 ones. Obviously, she busted them all out of their cases.

I once opened 10 boxes, and pulled 2 autos. :D
Sold off one over 10 years ago , and still have the other. :)
Only 7 have been graded by PSA, with top grade being PSA 8.

Wow - a nice way to bump a 4 year old thread :)!

Ok, since this thread has been bumped, why would someone go to the expense of grading cards, and then take them out of their cases just to resell?

The person had probably never graded before and/or was unfamiliar with the grading standards.... thought they'd get 9's, etc. Anything modern below a 9 gets no premium in value, so you might as well break it out and sell them ungraded.

I don't think that was a smart move by the seller, since they were the highest grades.
Any PSA 8's now will probably fetch a huge premium over raw cards.

10,000 packs, so even if it costs $0.25 per pack (I think that's less than wholesale too, more like clearance priced) that's $2,500 for 6 autographed cards and a bunch of cards to sort out to sell at $5 per set. That's a lot of work to extract some gems.

I'm guessing the price was closer to 10 cents a pack if you took all 10,000. Just a guess from the gallery.

Just reviving this thread...any insight w/the hobby taking off during this pandemic how much this auto should be valued around?! I've noticed Emma Watson and Robert Downey Jr autos have skyrocketed since I last check pre-pandemic.

Aguilera's a great singer, but her last platinum album was 15 years ago, so it's hard to imagine her signed card would be worth anything near a Watson card, let alone Downey's.

I've pulled two from packs.
Sold one, and still have the other.
Has any pop up recently. I bought one a few years ago

Harry Potter fanboys will keep Watson's autos popular for a long time, and we all know the RDJ/Marvel connection.
Christina Aguilera doesn't have either of that going for her. I think she's a judge on one of the talent shows, but that's about it. I don't see why her cards would spike now.
