2006 EXQUISITE Football group break

Looking for interest for this break of 2006 UPPER DECK EXQUISITE football .. cases prices make this much more affordable right now as discussed here ... here's how I would see the group break:

18 slots, $130 per slot.

Similar to The Cup ... every slot would be given a number and that number is the card that you get when it's pulled. Number 1 gets the first card pulled out of box 1, number 7 gets the first card pulled out of box 2, etc.

Slots that end up being base cards get $100 refunded. If for some reason there are fewer than 18 cards in the case, then slot 18 gets full refund. If, for some reason, there are fewer than 17 cards in the case we will have to pony up a small amount to cover the shortage ... but I doubt that will happen. That will be at the slot owners discretion.

Break would be a live break on this site with scans and video afterward as in the past.

LMK if interested and I'll get it ordered if there are enough 'players'!!

depending on when the money is due I would be in for one slot. I wouldn't be able to pay for my slot until after jan 1 when I get paid again. if that's possible put me down for 1 slot.. if not that's cool too just let me know timc

I would love to be a part of the break. I would agree with CAP though. I prefer a POST New Year break. But If I have no choice than to buy a slot in the last few slots remaining I'm going to have to leave CAP on the side and buy a slot.

There doesn't seem to be enough interest in this break at this point to justify ordering a case. I'll table this for a few weeks until after the new year and maybe we'll get something going at that time ... Thanks, TimC.

I'm going to resurrect this thread as the holidays are past and I still think this would be a great group break ... I'm willing to do it .. and I believe the case prices have dropped even more since we first started talking about this ... I'm going to start over with a feeler for interest ... please let me know if interested and how many slots ... slots would now be at $125 with $100 refund for a base card. Only 18 available!
