In case anyone was wondering, Topps will NOT replace these cards if they're damaged! I sent 5 damaged cards in a week or so ago and just got them back in the mail today. They sent the cards back and a letter saying that they were an obsolete product and they won't replace them.
Since apparently these cards are notorious for damaged sketches, buy them at your own risk!

Definitely. I just got off the phone with Topps. I just kinda went off on them. My biggest issue was that I contacted them TWICE before I ever sent the cards back. I told them the product and they gave me instructions on how to send them in for replacement. Why didn't they say it was an "obsolete product" when I talked to them?? I wasted time and postage!
The customer service rep said he hadn't heard of any issues with those cards and asked if I mentioned the year of the product when I talked to them previously. I said they should be familiar with their own products...especially Star Wars since there's not that many series!

Hopefully I'll at least get a decent animator sketch from my redemption! I actually pulled a Will Nichols animator sketch AND a redemption from the case.

Pretty bogus that Topps won't replace them. YOU purchased the product and they were damaged inside. Topps should be responsible for replacing them with something.

Although their stated policy is to replace damaged cards within 1 year of release of the product, that sucks as there were indeed rampant issues with roller damage in several of the Star Wars sets.
We always hear about how Panini sucks, yet nobody ever calls Topps on their BS. This is inexcusable.
