So I've been watching a card that's been on BIN/BO for some time now waiting to see if the guy will ever drop the starting offer at all. What I can't understand is that he ends the BIN listing constantly and relists with the exact same information, picture, etc. I mean like all the time. I put the item on my watch list and not 2-3 days later it says item ended and he's relisted it, always for the same price or very close. I follow the relisted listing, and sure enough a couple days later he ends it.

This has been happening probably 10 times or more now, is there any reason why he would do this? I've checked and it's a 30 day listing every time so it's not ending and relisting on it's own. Also it always happens a couple days after I start watching it, so he can see it has a watcher. Does that have some effect?

I could care less as Ebay links me right to the relisted item every time, but why in the world would someone do this over and over?

The only thing I can think of would be if he is trying to catch people looking at newest listings vs something that might be buried a few pages in.

Yeah good point, although a shorter listing would make sense. Maybe he just doesn't pay attention.

That is weird. I do 3 day listings because you have the best of both worlds as the newly listed, an in between day, then an ending soonest. I figure it only costs $.05 each time with a store but the way he does it is definitely strange
