Who do you guys think will win? The two teams are so different from each other. Spur is one of the oldest team and Thunder is one of the youngest. Spurs depends on solid Center and pass first point guard (even tho not lately) where Thunder runs fast breaks and huge scorer and shoot first pg. Spurs swept through the first 2 series so they should be well rested and thunder have also had it pretty easy except 1 game lose in Los angeles and couple close ones.
Who is going to win it?

Awesome series!! Really wish there could be some way for this to be the finals instead of the conference finals! lol then I wouldn't mind the Spurs losing as OKC would be great to see win it as well!
I think the Spurs' depth will be the key. They have shown the have the matchups to run with OKC. Leonard and Green on Durant defensively, Parker can account for Westbrook on most days (by the way, Parker hasn't been a pass first PG all season lol)
I think the Spurs will win in 6

Look at the date! 1/8/12
After that, the Spurs acquired Stephen Jackson (34 I think) and Boris Diaw (31 I think) so they would probably be closer to the top now! Also TP just turned 30 so technically that is another in their 30's.
Also, OKC signed D Fish (37) which would have boosted their average. OKC only have 4 players in their 30's - Mohammedm, Collison, Perkins and Fisher ( I think)

Lol guys, don't need to be technical. Just looking mostly at the spurs big 3, Tim duncan, Tony parker, Manu versus OKC big 3, durant, Westbrook, Harden so i thought it was old versus young.

Sure they have some young benchwarmers, but Parker, Ginobilli, and Duncan is probably the oldest trio in the NBA.

I don't get why people call the Spurs old. They have 3 old players in Duncan, Manu and Jackson. The rest is young! Tony Parker is younger than Wade...

Ginobili IS a bench warmer! lol
But no, Hill, Nash and any other starter would take that Mantle I think! lol

I think Spurs win. Their style usually kills street ball-type teams. They have much harder time against big and punishing half-court teams like memphis or the Lakers. Not saying they are the better team, but their style wins against up-and down team like the clippers and thunders.

Which in fact keep them around the same spot in the average age standings lol...
and OKC average 26.4

I really have no idea how this will go. Either team could dominate and win it in 5 or it could be a really hard fought series and it could go down to the last shot in game 7.

Spurs in six... i think spur will contain westbrook but that may allow for Harden to be series mvp..

Lets go Spurs, win one more for Mr. Duncan!
Another point in which you're thinking on the old Spurs is on the fast break points. Both San Antonio and OKC are in the top 10 of fast brak points per game and only separated by 2 points per game. These Spurs run the ball as well as anybody in the league.

Thunder take 1 of the first 2, win both at home, lose 5, and win 6, so, Thunder in 6.
