View Full Version : Anyone know why there are no Dark Knight Rises cards?

As the title says, I've been wondering this for a while now. Why hasn't a card company come and put out either a Dark Knight or Dark Knight Rises card set? Rittenhouse, Cryptozoic, Topps are you out there? I would buy these up in a heartbeat.

I know that it might be expensive, and that might just be the reason. But does anyone know if there are specifics outside of cost?

DC has not have ANY sets for a while (Cryptozoic will have the first set in a few years). There was speculation that there would have been one for The Dark Knight, but Topps (who released the Batman Begins set) had nothing.

If they put out anything related to the new Batman trilogy with autos and costume cards ,I can safely say it would be my first ever case purchase.

This might be the answer to the OP's question. Perhaps DC has been really difficult to work with. Look at HBO who haven't really had sets until the upcoming Game of Thrones.
