Was the NBA a pre-school only league back then? Jeez.
Why professional sports players would accept having these things on their uniforms is beyond be.

Can you imagine George Mikan or Bob Pettit wearing some of these? lol

Some of the 'old' logos are the images I get when I think of those teams. The antlered Buck is what I think of for the Bucks. Hard to believe (for me) that some of these logos that I grew up with have been gone for 20+ years.

For marketing purposes.

The Timberwolves took several years to realize their logo utilized colors poorly.
