Fields16 - Anyone deal with him?

I hate to call the guy out like this, but we agreed to a trade on Sunday night and 2.5 days and 3 PM's later I still haven't heard anything from him about it.

So after we agreed, I sent him a message with my address for the card I'm getting from him and said to let me know if he wanted me to send the card to him or hold it for a bit to see if he could work something out with the other guy.

A day goes by and I don't hear from him so I send another message Monday night asking what was going on with this, just so I knew.

Then nothing all day Tuesday or this morning, so I sent another message at 1 this afternoon asking what was up, and yet still no response from him.

I know he's seen it, when you log on after getting a message it pops up, and he's been online each day since the trade, and in fact is online right now.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with him in the past and if this is just an anomaly or an issue they've had as well.

i don't think we've ever come to a deal, but we have gone back and forth before. maybe he's just busy?

maybe, which is why I feel bad calling him out in this manner.

I've taken time to respond to people before as well, did it with you on the Stewart, so that I could think about it.

But we had already agreed to the trade and all I was wondering was where we were at and what I was doing with the card, pretty easy and quick response to that I'd assume.

I've had people just stop replying before. I had to PM a guy 4 times and then leave a comment in his thread before he got back to me...and then he stopped replying again, so I just gave up on it. Suppose he really doesn't want what his thread asks for. Mind you this was over on SCF, but he belongs here too.

It definitely drives you nuts, but just have to shrug it off and move on...and block them from bidding on your stuff when you throw it up on ebay. :evil:

Hahaha. Nah, I wouldn't block him either, especially since he just posted up above, but in my situation, after so many PMs, so many weeks and just lack of etiquette with the guy I was trying to deal with, it will be fun to keep them from bidding on the stuff I am likely to post on e-bay and just take what I can get for them.

He's on my ignore list and I'll tell you why, he/she has the ABSOLUTE WORST communication I've ever come across in dealing with cards. Numerous times during negotiations, the member would just out right stop talking to me, leaving the deal in limbo. They would never answer my PM's and after going into yet another trade thread they created, they would say something like "Oh I don't see anything" when they listed 10 cards the time before.

STAY AWAY and save yourself the headache.

I would have to agree with this statement. When I used to try a trade I would get a response roughly once every 3 days.

On my ignore list as well, counter offered me on a card he was selling, agreed to it then hits me up asking for a few dollars more and at the same time trying to haggle another member for the same card when we had already agreed. Long story short,I wouldn't waste my time with this guy.

I've dealt with him also. He posted alot on another forum and I bought it. I instantly paid and for 3 weeks he kept giving me excuse after excuse. So finally after almost a month of giving him a chance I filed a PayPal claim and got my money back. My advice is to stay away from this clown!

Dont know him personally but he is on my ignore list. The only people I put on my ignore list is people who have had threads made about them and posted in the members feedback section for thier horrible b/s/t habits. Its a great way to filter out the deadbeats and slow shippers.

Yeah man save your time. He has been on my bad list since day one. He is never wrong. Even though he is always caught in the wrong. He agrees on something and than never responds. Than after messaging him twenty times, he tells you that we never had a deal, even though you have the messages saying you did indeed have a deal.
