espn is reporting that the pistons have signed ben gorden and charlie villnova both to contracts what do you guys think is rip gone to be traded now will they trade prince or stuckey ? i do know we need some bigs to defend and wtach the rim maybe chandler or brand? looks like the pistons are trying to rebulid as quick as they can

It is going to be a little sad seeing the core Pistons group disbanded. We already dumped Mr. Big Shot (Chauncy Billups) for stinkin' AI. I would imagine that Rasheed Wallace and Rip Hamilton are next. These two have given some great years to the Pistons, but they are getting old. I would hope that Stuckey and Tayshaun Prince will be the building blocks for the future. Isn't that right Mr. Dumars?

rashed is a free agent and most likely will not be back from what i hear the cavs and the celtics are after rasheed since he can guard dwight howard one on one but we will see from what i hear sheed will not be back unless it is for alot less money then he can get on open market

Garnett has a better shot at guarding DH12 than Rasheed would, the Celtics have alot of big men too, they just need some more role players, which I doubt Rasheed wants to be at all.

Boston has 2 big men - Garnett & Perkins. Sheed to Boston is almost a done deal and they are looking at G. Hill as well.

I dont see the Pistons dropping anyone. Sheed may be gone, but the Pistons will keep Rip, Prince, and Stuckey. They may go with a small set and just run the floor. Who knows, maybe they will move someone, but I dont see it as of yet. They know they need to do something as the East has gotten much better in the past 2 weeks and need some way to combat it. I like sheed, but I think he causes to many Techs and is probalby not worth what he may get offered elsewhere.

Davis and Powe are solid bench guys, especially Davis, I would be surprised if Sheed goes to Boston just because he'll be a bench guy most likely.

He'll still be a bench guy regardless...I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Orlando since Turko is gone, and Lewis can slide to the 3.

He would get as many minutes on either team so I do not see that as a difference maker. I think Garnett's friendship gives the C's a slight edge plus the recruitment effort will not hurt.
