Curious what about everyone's views on grading cards......
Only High Value Cards?
To set yourself apart from the pack?
When you think you are getting a 9.5 or better?

I Grade cards for a couple of reasons. One reason is when I think I can get a better grade than what a raw card would go for, i.e. vintage rookies. The other is for preservation purposes. Those thick cards that nobody seems to have a case for, I figure if I don't get them graded, the condition will only get worse rattling in a big 35ct. case.

IMO,
only grade vintage (pre 1979) or HIGH END cards plus Super Star Rookies. Also, only use reputable grading companies like PSA, SGC and Beckett - not necessarily in that order.
Here are my observations for getting the most for your buck;
Beckett used only for modern stuff
SGC used only for pre 1950 stuff
PSA is good across the board.
