Here is a statement released by Miranda on Card Talk regarding this series:
Hello!
The Walking Dead Comic Trading Cards will be releasing soon, and as there are some questions surrounding this release, I though I'd try to clear up a few things.
We are very excited to be releasing this product as many of us in the office are huge fans of the comics. I've been sad to hear that there will be some fans that will have a difficult time trying to find boxes upon release, but we hope to get a better balance of supply to demand for the next set. There are lots of comments about what increasing production would mean, which reminds me a lot of The Price Is Right... You want to get as close to the supply-demand equilibrium without going over, and that is our goal. We will be very conservative in any decisions to increase quantities, and will keep very close to heart collector wishes. Sketch card insert ratio is 1:24 packs, and the autographs from the creators are inserted in packs as well. There will be 25 redemptions for oversized, signed art cards by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard. This is also the first product that we have inserted Plate Cards, and I'm very excited about those as well.
The Walking Dead Comic Trading Card San Diego Comic-Con edition binders (that's a mouthful) have exclusive artwork on the cover. Each binder contains a foil-stamped The Walking Dead logo version of the SDCC promo card and a complete base set. We wanted to release more base sets so that more fans had a chance to collect the majority of the content from the set. The binders will be available from numerous distributors and dealers that are attending the convention, as well as a very limited quantity in our store. I wouldn't be surprised if there were plenty available for sale online upon release, so plenty of folks should have the opportunity to pick one up even if you aren't attending the convention.
I'm also very eager to see more sketch cards from artists! If you haven't checked it out lately, we added a few more cards to the site, take a look take a look!

Does the second bolded section imply they might increase boxes of the comic series, in contradiction to the first bolded section?

I don't read it as such at all. It sounds like she is specifically speaking about future sets.

So, just wanted to post that I cracked two boxes of this today, and am absolutely doing a 180 on this set. I'll post box breaks, but quite honestly this set is amazing. The base cards are gorgeous, the foils seriously are beautiful and the sketches are nice. Not quite as nice as season one, but really nice. A+ from me on this set.

Wow, some of these sketch cards from this set look amazing. They did a great job with the list of artists for this set. I think this set will be extremely popular.

Getting my four boxes at work tomorrow. 2 weeks ago, I had the thought to keep them sealed. Now, seeing breaks.... those suckers are getting opened ASAP.

So, does anyone have a list of the auto's for this set? I know A1: Kirkman, A2: Adlard, A:3 Russ Wooton A:4 Sina Grace. Is there an A:5 etc??

I pulled a Jefferson Hojas Sketch card from my box but it doesn't look like he's a member of Scoundrel so I'm not sure how many he did.
Only 1 has sold and none of his is listed on Ebay!

No, but I've emailed them recently in regards to a list. I think the best way is to contact the artist themselves. I know Sara Richards is doing 50 for the new D.C. line from them.

Cryptozoic just updated the site with the additional redemptions. They are for the printing plates used on the mini comic book inserts. Thats a nice added bonus to the set.

Thanks. I had been wondering about that. It's still strange to me that I haven't seen them mention autos except for the redemptions.
