Colorado is considering going to an 11 man rotation. They are generally being bashed for this but I think it might work. It's not like they could get much worse. Also they have a lot of talented young arms ( White, Nicasio, Pomeranz, Friedrich, Chachin and recently called up Cabrera) that have not figured it out at the big league level. This could possibly help them. The details are in this article

There's got to be someone trying new things. Everyone has fallen into the same cookie cutter 100 pitches, X number of days rest, etc. Someone was bound to come along and try something radical. With the cost of pitching going up and the risk of injury to those pitchers somewhat high (as compared to hitters) it only makes sense to try something difffert. Not sure an 11 man rotation is the way to go. But until I see it then who knows?

They just need to let Friedrich start on the road, and relief at home.
