Ever pull any cards that just don't make sense?

The one card I was thinking was a Leo Nunez (or whatever his real name is) bat piece. I flipped over the card and saw it said game used then continued to read his stat line say he had 0 career at bats. Anyone else have anything weird like that?

Could be a piece of bullpen bench.

Doubt it though. Probably some scrubs' bat.

I'm guessing he has bunted at some point. Doesn't count as an official AB. But yeah, kind of baffling that they give a bat card to a relief pitcher.

I hear ya man, same concept with the base, wall, and dirt cards. Yeah it was in the stadium, but what does it have to do with the player.

I'd check baseball-reference for PA instead of AB (I tried looking up Leo Nunez and the only result was a Astros Minor Leaguer from 1993)..

Which brings up another possibility....theres a chance it's from a minor league game...

First off...bunting does not count as an at bat???? It does if it is not a sacrifice or if it does not work. Also, you could be right that it isn't a plate appearance either, if it is done correctly. Does it say it was game used? It could have been in spring training, or it just might be his bat.

I personally don't like when they put bats on pitcher's cards. It is different but I like to think I am getting a piece of something that actually matters. My LCS has a Kevin Brown GU Bat and the card actually shows him batting. Give me something the players are known for. Jersey, Pant, Patch, Sock, Shoe, Gloves can come from any player, but hitters should have bats/batting gloves and pitchers should have piece of a GU ball, rosin bag

This card says nothing on the back and he had like 2 AB in 2003.

What year was the card from? The only career plate appearance he had came in 2011.
