Id say buy singles if you have $20. You would get more value in my opinion. If you had a bit more money id say buy packs

LOL...I see what you mean!!! However if I'm only buying packs I'll often buy a few of a product that has a lot of auto's in it(deee,contenders ect) and those few packs have often saved me. For example last month i spent $30.00 on some bowman packs, and just before leaving the shop, decided on some packs of 2011 Playoff Contenders as well. I pulled a Kemp auto out of one of those contenders(and 2 other auto's, from 3 packs) Although this was luckier than usual similer things happen often. If I was ripping a box however, I would stay away from the ugly cards as well...
