I bought a box of 2012 Fanfare at Wal-Mart day before yesterday and when I opened it the auto (only thing supposed to be in the box was missing. Upon closer inspection it looked as though someone may have taken a razor blade to the box and maybe shook it until the card fell out or stuck their fingers in and got it. I guess my only question is should I try to return it to Wal-Mart or should I contact Press Pass to try and get my money back or can I even get it back?

If you take it to Wal-mart, they most likely won't do anything there. If you contact Press Pass, they MIGHT understand the situation and send you a "replacement". It seems like there are more and more pack/box searchers coming around (even the LCS owners). It's getting out of hand.

Yeah it's really frustrating because it seems the employees of these stores dont even care that people do this literally right under their noses in most cases.

No kidding! My wife and I were at the local Target about 2 weeks ago and this guy was pack searching. I told the Loss Prevention guy AND manager and NO ONE did a damn thing about it!!!!

You can to take it back. Say the package was opened and you want a refund. Simple.

What do you want them to do about it?

It's not illegal, it's just frowned upon in the card collecting community

Lol I was going to say the same thing. Retail is fair game. But you must be pretty bored if you wanna search through hundreds of retail packs for one hit.

Yeah, I do not know what they could of done. I think someone said they found a law that states the customer has the right to inspect merchandise before purshase.

Pack searching is overrated anyways, most of the good hits are generally autos, which you can't tell from pack searching in most products.
