Keep in mind this was a group break. You're welcome to contact the people's usernames in the info box to the right of the video corresponding to the teams you're interested in. But my teams were thankfully the Penguins and the Coyotes!

I only have one concern with this break.
When the video starts, and he is cutting open the box. It sseems like it was open allready or at least partially opened (maybe had been re-taped). Not saying I don't believe the guys, but it leaves me with some doubt when I see that.

Plus, when they show the case the pack/box on the right looks like it could have been resealed to me. Look at how loose the shrink wrap is along the one edge compared to the box on the left. With those smaller boxes it is fairly easy to reseal them with the shrink wrap from a standard sized UD box. Between the issue with the case seal that you noticed and the loose shrink wrapping, the break looks pretty suspect. That being said, anyone who participates in those types of breaks assumes that risk, especially after the melbournecowboys incident.

This break was done by someone who does probably 20-25 breaks a month. This is the first time it's happened. I have no doubt that it was an upper deck mishap rather than foul play.

Many of you may not have seen the missing UD Premier Football pack during one of Chris's videos for a customer of his. So this is obviously not the first time it's happened!

I love gullible people. melbournecowboys kept getting Exquisite packs that were missing a card and now this guy has received two "empty" packs/boxes of a very easy item to reseal. P.T. Barnum would be proud.

Sorry for pointing out some issues with the tape and asking some questions. Obviously it hit too close to home with you. If you notice, I'm not the only one with a "tiny brain" who thinks the tape is suspicious. Also, I can't help but notice that you decided not to post anything about his eBay auctions. Is that because some OPC Premier big hits have been sold via his account recently a la melbournecowboys? Again, just asking a question. I would think that anyone who was ripped off by that guy would be real careful not to get ripped off again and would appreciate, not attack, people who pointed out some potential red flags.

I looked for the video that was done by Chris but I could not find it. Paged through 40+ pages looking for it but I cant even remember how long ago it was.

As for the group break it was done live and as I stated in a previous post, the youtube clip started about 4 seconds late! As I mentioned also was that there were 90+ people in the room who saw the case get opened live. The tape was fully intact when he started cutting. As for the first pack, those who suspect it was resealed, you and I both know you cannot tell in the video quality.

And finally regarding his ebay account. He does not sell his stuff on ebay. Instead he does consignment through someone else.

I know that he has no need to steal, nothing that has come out of any OPC Premier has been nearly as valuable as say an Exquisite Matt Ryan Logo Patch. Hell I would say the most expensive item that has sold out of this product have been $450! Thus far the majority of the items are selling for less than 200! So what preytell would be so expensive to risk that? We're talking about hockey here, not basketball or football. Granted there are some nice patch autos in this product but there are not any NHL logo patches in there!

Either way, I am not going to bother checking this thread anymore seeing as I have given you as much info as I could and it's obvious you will have your opinions. So take it or leave it. I don't care anymore.

Nice how the cards are held over the camera while someone else seems to be looking at cards for hits, lol and swapping cards. I wouldn't feel confortable being part of that break neither.

Another thing I wouldn't like if I was in this guys breaks is the fact that he is dipping and spitting it into a bottle while messing with the cards. Someone probably got a jersey card with a little extra juice on it.

Who really cares about any of this ? if nobody here was affected by this group break, what does any of it matter ? I watched it too, and thought that first part was a bit suspect, but he does state that he had another camera on the break and that it's not his first rodeo, and unless one of the persons that joined it comes here and complains, none of this really matters. at least not to me. but kudos to nyted for defending the break.

I can't stand UD. I think a lot of you guys know this by now.

However, and I truly hate to admit it, there are several things wrong with this video as has been pointed out before. It definitely looks like that case had been resealed. Before the knife was even put to it, you can tell the tape had been either cut into before or was broken in a large area on top.

Then the case and box was completely removed from the video.

Then there's the fact that neither the guy that handed the box to the guy in the video, nor the guy in the video noticed before hand that the box felt empty. It's fairly easy to tell if there's nothing in the box ahead of time. Cards aren't as light as air.

Their reactions seem a bit rehearsed too.

Also, one of those top two boxes look as if the shrink wrap had been removed and then put back on. Notice how the shrink wrap on the first two boxes look different? Also, does the first guy not in the video cut that shrink wrap before handing the box to the guy in the video? It came off very easily on camera.

Again, I really hate to defend UD, but this does look a little suspect to me. It's unfortunate too because I like seeing when UD screws up that it's caught on tape.

I have 1 huge problem with this break. Anyone that hasnt noticed or just thought (which it was posted here earlier) please recheck this video again! Re-watch the video and pause it at the 38-39 second mark. Clearly on the back side-bottom of the box at that angle you can see that the opposite side seal had already been broke (it is actaully sticking out from the box). I could let just about everything else go....but once I watched the video and saw that....that really bothered me.

After watching this video over and over again, the shrink wrap on that first box appears to be cut open by the guy to our left of the main guy on video. He opened other boxes too during this same video and then handed them to the main guy. I don't think there's really any evidence in this video that box 1 was previously opened.

The evidence that's most suspect to me is when he shows the opened cases, and the box on our right appears to have more wrinkled shrink wrap classic of a re-sealed box. But we have no idea if that's the box that's opened first, and even then, that wrinkled shrink wrap wasn't all that bad.

Who knows.

I do have to make one comment about what I bolded above...If you sliced the case on top to speed things up, why did your partner have to go ahead and slice it again? Why don't you just slice the whole seal so he doesn't have to waste any time?

2. i appreciate u liking my name, my name is bryan noble, hence the screen name, is play off of that.

3. i sliced the top middle of the case just wide enough for him to put his hand in there and pop it open, never really thought about it, but that is what i usually do, i guess maybe should have sliced it all the way open, but i usually just do enough for him to pop it open. Either way we showed the sealed case multiple times both top and bottom and both sides live on blogtv to 90+ people so like i said earlier as much as i appreciate your guys commentary on here, the negativity and cynics on here are a joke. both myself and the other gentleman are 200% on the up and up you can ask the over 1000 subscribers he has and the 300 that i have and they would all agree, this is a typical upper deck screw up, and thats the end. If there are any other questions of the legitimacy of myself or chad, please contact the people who pull the hundred or thousand dollar cards in our group breaks and ask them how those cards are doing in there collections. take care. bryan

Thank you for coming on here and defending yourself. I have always thought it was more likely UD screwed up as apposed to you guys scamming anyone. I'm sure you understand where some of us were coming from though.

If I may suggest, take what was written here and make your breaks unquestionably on the up and up. We all should be happy to learn something new every day. If people question you because of the way you do things, perhaps changing how you do them might help out. For instance, I think it might be a good idea for the guy in the video to open a completely sealed case from now on. But it's just a suggestion, and it's coming from someone that has never participated in your breaks, so take it for what it's worth. Possibly not much. ;)

I bet they opened a box like that and thought the only way to prove it was thru a fake case break. Plus the weight would be diffrent so the would know before the opened the pack it was bunk.
