before you sell anything on here, do your research. most of the guys here aren't bad, but I'd hate to see you get ripped off!
talk to Gibberish or Indy (or both!) to get some fair value estimates.

Check with Indy for sure he can help you best with those. I am not as familiar with those comics as I am with marvel.

Looks like the typical estate/auciton lots I see a lot. The Mountain Men, Indian chiefs will sell well if you lot them together. I'd pull the Batman and Hedy out and then sell the rest as a lot. I don't see anything worth a lot of money by themselves as what I'm finding out is most auction and even estate lots already have they key books pulled.
I like the Classics Illustrated personally, but the ones that bring big bucks are the 1st editions, but they've all been reprinted 6-7 times, so it really depends on the printing. Otherwise they're 2-5 dollar books.
My Rule of thumb when buying lots like this, if they say it's vintage/old, and you see 1 post 1980 book in the lot, pass on it.
The Sgt Fury books should do well, he has a big following. You might consider also selling those in a lot. Old books in good condition, as these appear to be, sell best when lotted and themed together.

Your classic's are ,at the lowest Wuthering heights, 3rd printing, up to 5th,Cat Courageous,Kim
Im interested in the classics, lassie and Bewitched if the staples are secure and no tears at them. Most of the 4-color sits in the store, but I like em :) They look good and every person over 50 comes in with the " I remember" tales and I do love talking to people ;)

Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it! Would the Classics say first printing inside front cover?

I would rather sell the entire lot if i could, i wouldnt charge much at all for the "commons" I cant seem to find the bewitched issue i have. is it rarer than the others i see online? i will look over the staples on those you are interested in.

No,has to do with the re-order list on the back
HRN=Highest reorder number
here,found some info
eBay Guides - CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED comic books IDENTIFYING REPRINTS (http://reviews.ebay.com/CLASSICS-ILLUSTRATED-comic-books-IDENTIFYING-REPRINTS?ugid=10000000000084872)
Not interested in the lot. Too many junk books that I would end up sitting on and I need no more of that

Also
Per the cowboy books and indian books, people who buy such will buy across multiple auctions to save on shipping.
When I sell books that have multiple "In-Demand" issues on ebay I scatter them and make sure to mention I have more in other auctions as well as offer VERY fair shipping incentives, causing people to buy multiple auctions from me.
My feedback reflects just under 900 with 481 different members.
Means I do a lot of transactions with the same people.
I NEVER ship media mail. Not worth passing a 3.00 savings on to someone when the down side is a destroyed package.
An example would be your Indian Chief
I would list each in it;s own auction and use BOLDED LARGE FONTS to say
Please check out my other auctions for Silver-Age books (or) My other auctions for Silver-age Westerns.
Shipping is 5.90
Each additional auction won, combined is JUST .25 ea up to 6 auctions !!
Orders of 7 books to 20 books are 10.90 shipped !!!
Now, 5.90 covers 1 book in a flat rate Mailer (Do not use the priority rigid cardboard mailer, use the paper it's bigger) you can fit 6 books, with over-sided cardboard to keep them safe in the mailer.
A flat rate medium box leaves PLENTY of room to insulate the books. I use card board and make boxes to fit within the box with room for a layer of peanuts or bubble wrap
be sure to put FRAGILE !!! DO NOT PUNCTURE OR CRUSH on all 6 sides jsut to be safe
This shows people that you sell to sell and your money is on books, not shipping.
I get PISSED when some guy expects me to pay a premium for him getting off his ass to go to the mail box or lacks the SIMPLE knowledge on how to use paypal to ship from home, and expects me to pay 3-4.00 for him driving to the PO
I RARELY have auctions expire. I say this with a slight chuckle as I had 5 end this week with no bids or offers. I usually read the market fairly well. My issue was I tried to push NON-SELLING issues onto people mixed in with hot issues in order to clear out some space. Lesson learned :)
If you need help, let me know. For me, I only sell books to..sell. I don't need to sell, it's just part of the hobby for me. Something to make it less redundant since I only KEEP my SIlver-age ;)

i cant sell that low, i will try my own luck on ebay. thanks so much for taking the time to write all those tips up for me. i really owe you on our next trade. i know how to rate card conditions, but how should i describe condition on these books? all pages are there, no writing, lots of wrinkles, staples secured, faded edges?

Make sure the book is complete and the correct book. I once sold a 1950's Millie book only to find out from the Buyer it was a 1950's some other book with a Millie cover! Make sure the centerfold is there and attached, it's common for books this old to be missing that page. Make sure the cover is attached at both staples. Report any tears, rips, missing pages, and water damage. Sell as "Good condition" reader copies and I think you'll be ok. If you venture into offering actual grades, you're opening yourself up to a lot of arguments, debate and charge-backs. I'm careful and I still run into it. Just had to refund a guy who bought a lot of my books because he said they "smelled old" and I didn't say that in my listing.. I was like "No S**T! because THEY'RE OLD you dufus!".. anyway, I refunded his money, said stick the books in your butt and blocked him.
Now they smell old and like poop.

You need to list the classics with the correct HRN number OR as a lot.
I am telling you though, as a lot, they rarely get more than 1.00/ea
If you list them 1 at a time and get the HRN wrong, will be coming back to you
Had issues in the past
You need to scan them, safest way to avoid accidental bidding.
People appreciate WIDE OPEN descriptions.
People who put G/VG and do not mention that the inside pages are partially detached or there is a chunk missing from the back are being honest, but it usually pisses people off when you do not do FULL disclosure and then toss out a grade.
Most of your books will be G to VG
indy has a grading sticky up top,try it. If it gets confusing, scan a book, post your grade and the issues you see with it and we can come at your iwth questions a buyer might ask or tell you its spot on
