Yeah it's pretty wrong. I guess Topps is under the impression Canadians are mentally inferior.
Oh well. At least they make up for it with decent products. I'd rather be treated like an idiot and get solid value out of my boxes than be treated like an average person and get crap out of my boxes.
And I wouldn't say Topps hates Canada. They've shipped some pretty solid boxes to my LCS (including one bowman draft box opened by me with a superfractor, a blue auto, and an Aflac auto in it!) :).

If it is a law it's not one I'm familiar with. You never know though, this country has some wild and ridiculous laws that make absolutely no sense. This may be one of them.

I'm not sure I understand your second statement please explain. But I do agree with your first comment. Topps should not feel that way about Canada. Ive been there is a very nice please. Anjou Quebec( The Heart of Canada) was one of the nicest place I have ever been.

What I was implying was that Topps may hate Canada, but they put out very good products (see Draft, Tier One, Bowman) whereas Panini, who seems to have no hatred towards Canada, puts out god awful products. That's all!
Wait, you're saying you liked Quebec? How is that possible?! Having visited Quebec at least 100 times a year and having worked there for 6 years of my life (thankfully I got out four years ago) I can tell you it isn't the nicest place on earth.

It is a law. Can't be a lottery or raffle. Must be tied to some test of "skill". I assure you Topps isn't wasting time on CANADA math 101 for fun.

Yeah, if you stay in the Montreal area/Ontario border area it's really a nice province. Most cities in those areas seem to have a strong English contingent and are tolerant of English folk. It's once you get into the thick of Quebec (east of Drumondville, if you know where that is) is when it gets bad. I've had absolutely horrible experiences in those places (including being refused entry into a hotel about an hour out of Quebec City because of my spoken language) and have hated "La Belle Provonce", at least that part of it, for the majority of my life.

I don't know man. I found that east of Drummondville seemed very tolerant, but east of there it gets very hostile for English-speaking visitors. Maybe I've just had negative experiences in central Quebec, because around the eastern border is very nice as well.
Love speaking French here btw. I might start doing that more often.
Merci d'avoir parles en francais sur cête cite-web. J'aime beaucoup quand les autres personnes ne comprends pas que nous dire.
I haven't written in French for about 5 years now, so it's a little rusty! I'm much better speaking French!

I've always thought that Canada is sort of like the US's little brother. Though sometimes we don't get along, and although we're bigger, and everyone likes us more, and we burned down their leaders house, we'll, umm.... What was I trying to say? Something about us kicking their ass in hockey?

I've heard the samme. I live 70 miles south of Montreal, and I love the city. And have never had any problems due to being American. I personally have never been more than 30 miles north of MTL, but my father and uncles used to hunt west of Quebec City, and aparently they were VERY unfriendly up there.

Great Statement by the way thanks for the French class. I truly enjoyed refreshing my French. LOl some of us here can read it LOl about 3% can. Please correct me if I didn't understand all of your dialect completely.
Well I think the language barrier and population is something that at this point in time is no excuse for not complying with the outside world. As you know In the US we adapt to all races and languages. It's sad when a place uses its population and differences of language to hide behind a policy they just don't want to be part of. If we are one coexisting world (Canada/US) we should not use these things to differentiate from one another. I think we should all stand together. If the world goes to hell in a hand basket you know the US has your back. And the real question is what if a person truly can't answer a skills math test question (mentally disabled) are you saying they should not collect hobby cards? That's not the way anybody should feel or think. I'm not attacking your statement just that i and others know your country is more forward thinking then the US. We seem to use brawn not brain most of the time when it comes to issues in the world. So I don't like the fact that this process is like taking steps backwards when we all know (US) your country fights so hard to take steps forward in issues involving human rights. I know it just a silly question on the pack of cards. But forest fires start from one very tiny spark.
