I just pulled an Andrew Luck Auto 12/99. Which means it is a 1/1. Got to love the jersey number. This is probably my best pull yet. I only bought 3 packs of Elite and pulled it. Scans to come.

Omg, does that mean its a 1/1? Cause i thought a 1/1 is when there are only one of the card

Oh I'm sorry. I value pulling the players number far greater than pulling some random number. Sorry thatI get excited pulling a Luck auto. Some people just don't pull great hits everyday like you. But thanks for the feedback.

I wish i pulled great hits. My best one has been Robert Turbin auto and thats saying alot. You will definitely get a premium with the jersey number. But 1/1 come on...

It was great to meet you too. I really like that card shop. How often do you go? Do they have trade night or anything?

Congrats! Awesome pull. And yes, every card every made is a 1/1, but some are clearly more desirable than others!!!

Probably my favorite shop in Texas...well, I love "Nick's" in Dallas, too, but I visit San Antonio more often for work. I don't get to visit very often...maybe once every six weeks. I live in Houston but periodically visit Austin and San Antonio for work.

They do a TON of cool stuff here. BGS visits twice a year, JSA stops by as well. Not sure if/when they have trading days, but you can give Charlie a call and ask. The people there are the best and for some reason folks are ALWAYS pulling amazing stuff there. Check out Charlie's website...you'll probably be featured on the front page tomorrow! Yeah I am actually from South Texas near McAllen but I go to school at Tech but I am in SA for an internship. I have been to several card shops in Texas but I really like this one. He has so many different choices and he seems like a really nice guy. My buddy and I will probably stop in whenever we go through SA.

No it doesn't mean it's a 1/1.

It's a 1/1 when it's STAMPED 1/1!!!!!

Im from AZ. But when I went down to catch a Lions Cowboys game I got the chance to stop by Nick's. Was a very small shop, but cool owner. I think he said he was a Teacher or something. But man that place was packed

People pay a premium for jersey #d cards and its not like the OP is the first person to call a jersey #d card a 1/1. If I have one on ebay I put 1/1 in my listing because so many people believe it and it helps the listing. I do say in the description that it is considered a 1/1 but Ive paid a premium on some of my John Elway stuff because it is #d 7/XX.

Id sell it OP. It will pay for another Luck and give you some cash.

I am not wanting 999.99. I just put it up to see what kind of offers are out there. I have not decided to keep it or not. I usually keep my big pulls. Just wanted to see what was out there. I just put a value up to see what was out there.

a jersey # or a 1/# doesnt mean its a 1/1 but its always worth more so its worth mentioning.

go check ebay if you don't believe me. but cards can be worth over 2x their actual value just because its 1/ or jersey/# or last one made. I personally wont pay much more for a specific # but I will pay a little more and I do prefer it.

example: joe mcknight treasures /99 sell for $30-35. the 1/99 sold for over $100. thats 3x the money. 25/99 (jersey) sold for $110. again 3x the norm.

just cause you don't care for it doesn't mean others dont. some people are just haters OP. nice card.

Well said saintsfan9......Its pretty sad that so many individuals are just here bashing his comments of it being a 1/1 instead of saying congrats for pulling one of the more desired card in this product. I guess some individuals just cant be happy for others........by the way congrats husker on your great pull:)!

Just because it's his jersey # does NOT make it a 1/1. If that were the case, card companies should stamp "1/1 because of jersey #" on these kinds of cards.

you are setting yourself up for failure with that listing

I'm on your side with the 1/1 as everyone here knows from my thread yesterday, but you need to call it an "ebay 1/1" and on top of that, you need to have in the description at least, if not in the title too, that it's numbered 12/99, which is his jersey number, thus making it an ebay 1/1, not just put 1/1 and 12/99.

If you don't spell it out like that, they can file for item not as described and just say that it was misleading, you won't stand a chance of fighting it if you don't spell it out like that.

Then on top of that, saying it will not grade below a 9 is just not very smart, that may be true, and you may not do this yourself, but some idiot out there could buy it, put one ding in a corner to where it would grade at an 8.5 and ask for half his money back saying it wasn't as described.

Then you either have to do it, or get a damaged card back and get none of the sales.

Nice card. Good luck selling it but I agree with zona. To someone not paying attention they could think it is a 1/1 or that you are selling a 1/1 and a 12/99 card. The way the listing is set up seems destined for failure.

Nice hit but i gotta ask: Best pull of your life?
The kid hasn't even played an NFL pre-season game yet, he could be the next david carr or akili smith!

Sweet hit! I had the opposite happen. Called my LCS to hold a box of Inception. Couldn't make it in because of working late. He put it back out the next morning. It was bought and opened in the store. Robert Griffin III #10/25 (jersey) 4-color patch auto. Now I am sick.
