He was apologetic for all that happened tonight, I agree he did not handle anything the best, but he did refund me some money back. I had TWO people purchase from me when I first came here, being new to this whole internet dealing thing (always a shop and show guy) I had to also start a paypal. Well these guys sent their money but it sat in a hold for "up to 21 days", I thought I was actually the one getting scammed, so I refunded their money.

After actually taking the time to read through the site, I realized I had to link paypal to my bank account, I did that, made a sale, everything worked fine.

I should have gone back and asked if either wanted to re-purchase their cards, thats my fault. Flame away at me for it. My bad.

I put a lot up, guy tells me he wants it and will pay after dinner, he says it was a half hour, BS, it was easily 4 hours and I don't hear from him, now normally that's fine but before him I received offers and people just disappeared. They wanted to know "my best price" "ok ill take it" then nothing. I figured he was another one of those cases. So I started feeling offers from messages sent after his. That lot was sold and is on its way to its new owner.

I sold 3 lots this weekend, $105, $125, $165 I believe - all 3 were mailed today at lunch, all 3 were paid only pp goods - I knew being new people wanted that. All 3 were give dc#'s and those #'s show the packages are going to their destinations.

My problem is I was insulted by some of the things I was told on here when I didnt sell raiderfan a card, 5 other guys jumped in and they haven't stopped, even now...

You made numerous mistakes throughout all of this and never once asked for help on how to sell cards. Cussing at people, saying horrible things when all the community is doing is trying to protect each other.

As far as our deal there wasn't an okay, I'm interested, there was a commitment from both parties. I committed to buying and you committed to selling. I had stated that payment would be made when I returned from dinner. You were ok with this and supplied payment information.

You contacted me later in the day to ask if I was still interested. I immediately said I was and that payment would be made within minutes. You had already sold to another buyer at a higher price.

Why would you send a message asking if I were still interested if you had already sold to someone else? Why send a message at all if you hadn't committed to selling? Your story, in this case, is complete bullsh*t. If I'm able to, I will leave negative feedback as well..

You didn't scan me and from reading through all of these posts, I don't believe you scammed anyone that you eventually sold to.. What you did, was unethical, and appears you did it to others as well.. Saying you're new to the site holds no water. Unless you're a child, you should know what commitment means. You should have a morale basis to stand on. It appears you have neither, at least in my case.. Based on claims of at least 2 others, it appears that there is a major issues here..

The fact that you never responded to my PM after you said, sorry, I sold to someone else, is unforgiving... I can easily assume that you failed to show empathy because you sold the cards for a higher price.. Otherwise, you would have refunded that buyer and completed the deal that you had already agreed to...

i mean, you had a few veterans warning you in that thread that if you backed out of that deal it would look super fishy. When you did and refused to just take a screenshot of that PM you received before the original reply to your FS thread, it would have resolved everything and everybody would be saying "damn, that buy is fast as #@#@#@#@ at sending PMs!"

that's the issue. Once you started getting nasty to EJ (ray) that's when the veterans dogpiled you. And to be honest, it was deserved 100%

sure, people make tons of mistakes. i do too. #@#@#@#@, even the best seller (in my opinion) on here screwed up. Krup (bigbensbff) sent me the wrong card and caught it before it arrived. He sent the card I originally purchased with another PC extra AND let me keep the card he originally sent because it was his mistake.

anyway, people make mistakes. But when you step in poop, the smart thing to do is wipe/wash it off. To continually step in a pile of dog poop and rub it all over your clothes is just madness, and that's what the guy did by refusing to post the evidence needed to clear everything up while also acting like he was 11 on the internet.

The guy can remain here, no problems. He'll just have to really dig himself out of the hole he dug himself from this situation.

that is neg worthy. if we neg buyers because they say they'll take it and don't pay (which is how it should be), then sellers should be negged for backing out of a sale after prices are agreed upon.

Completey agree, and Im brand new here. Also, dont know whats going on in this situation. So I dont want to speak on that. But jeez it seems like 1/3 of the threads I go into there is someone bashing someone for "posting something twice," or "their hot deals, arent really "hot,"" or "they arent using proper English." I used to be on beckett awhile ago, and there was some fighting, but not to the extent it is here.

Your best bet is to stay here and go there...and just work on your selling practices.

Based on what I've read, you should've just posted the email scan, and been done with everything. Since you didnt do that...your best bet is to work with members that will work with you and build your rep back. Most likely you'll have to send first for a while...but you can come back from this.

Who have I screwed? Thats what I fail to get. I can sell my cards to whoever I want. Once sold, the cards were mailed. So like your life, this all seems pretty meaningless.

As far as our deal there wasn't an okay, I'm interested, there was a commitment from both parties. I committed to buying and you committed to selling. I had stated that payment would be made when I returned from dinner. You were ok with this and supplied payment information.

You contacted me later in the day to ask if I was still interested. I immediately said I was and that payment would be made within minutes. You had already sold to another buyer at a higher price.

Why would you send a message asking if I were still interested if you had already sold to someone else? Why send a message at all if you hadn't committed to selling? Your story, in this case, is complete bullsh*t. If I'm able to, I will leave negative feedback as well..

You didn't scan me and from reading through all of these posts, I don't believe you scammed anyone that you eventually sold to.. What you did, was unethical, and appears you did it to others as well.. Saying you're new to the site holds no water. Unless you're a child, you should know what commitment means. You should have a morale basis to stand on. It appears you have neither, at least in my case.. Based on claims of at least 2 others, it appears that there is a major issues here..

The fact that you never responded to my PM after you said, sorry, I sold to someone else, is unforgiving... I can easily assume that you failed to show empathy because you sold the cards for a higher price.. Otherwise, you would have refunded that buyer and completed the deal that you had already agreed to...

Why leave the original buyers hanging, why not explain the situation before refunding? Also why not explain everything to them fully when you refunded? And then give them another chance to buy after the Paypal situation was resolved?

Clearly they did not get the right explanation because when they saw the lots on sale again they thought there was something fishy was going on. If you had resolved things with them properly why would they have done that?

You would need to have all of your msgs, posts etc showing how the deal went and that it was retaliatory in nature. Then PM pskell or Iluvfish and talk with them about it.

it must be the fact that you're new here that you keep thinking you didn't screw somebody man. When you post a card in the sell forum with a price, when somebody says "i'll take it", you're locked into the deal with them unless they don't pay or try to change the terms of the deal.

had the buyer said "i'll take it" then flaked later, you would be able to drop a neg on them.

i'm not trying to push any one person out the door here. I just want this place to be a good spot on the internet to do deals, and part of making this place that deal utopia is getting rid of trashy selling tactics like the ones you've exhibited on 2 of your first few deals on this site.


We protect our own here, and I'd expect any 10-20 members on this site to come to have my back if I was screwed in a deal, so that is why myself and other members are here now getting after you.

I really can't stress this enough man- the whole thing would die down if you just showed the supposed PM (which I strongly doubt exists) or owned up to you taking a better deal because you listed the card too low. Both options end the madness. Depending how it goes, you'll either be ignored by members wary to do business with you, or you'll be cleared of everything and your neg for this would be wiped away.

to keep dragging it out is just asking for speculation, which is nuts in my opinion. the key to doing good business here is to have good prices, ship on the same day or the next business day, and don't give anybody a reason to complain. i have no doubt you have a few deals pending that will bump your feedback up after being successfully completed. That's great, because I hate seeing members with fully negative feedback.

This place is great. Don't run away because you think you're not welcome. Again, it's just the apparent sales tactics you use that aren't welcome. Clean those up, do a few small-time deals to build up that iTrader, and bam, you're good to go.

True, that was a bad move as well. Every time this happens it's funny that at the end of the day it's how the person reacts that buries them not really even the original issue.

The original issue you can recover from, but not if you handle it poorly.

I said id get on here when my deal was complete. Joe sent my cards and never backed out of my deal. He communicated effectively and kept me updated with the deal. I was the first to respond to his thread on Friday for the $105 deal and he responded right away and said it was mine. Just letting people know. I know the concern wasnt exactly shipping them, it was something to do with selling to a second buyer, but my deal went well.

I also would have appreciated a PM stating I have an offer of $30 - would you like to match. Like I said I've been looking for a replacement on my PC, and it sucked to be treated that way.

And it was a lesson learned for me. I now know to be up front with people and not treat this as a seedy business - like im used to at the card shows I frequent. I will do my best to gain back the trust of members here and I appreciate your acceptance of my apology.
