His stuff is selling extremely well compared to a couple of weeks ago... Is now the time to sell if I can make double my investment? Or hold until the season is underway?

I have noticed the same. If you can double your investment than I would sell half at these prices and hold onto a few that you really like for the season. I really like Martin and think he is going to be a beast. I was hoping to stock up more on his cards before the prices picked up but it was just recently that the nice cards started to show up.
Not to mention...I highly dislike Blount. Not just as a player but as a person in general.

The optimism surrounding Martin is well warranted. He blocks well and has good hands out of the backfield, there's no doubt he will eventually be the #1 in Tampa and as far as I am aware, he is already ahead in the competition with Blount and their preseason hasn't begun.
Tampa's offense has greatly improved, Saints defense has gotten worse, Falcons defense is still awful, and the Panthers defense albeit improved is still bad.
Offensively the Bucs are going to have a great year and Martin is going to have a great year. I think many collectors can already see that on the horizon hence the reason his prices have picked up.
At the end of the day, he's still a Buccaneer which means he's got a small following and coming out of Boise State he doesn't have a large college following either.
I'd move them now, he's going to have a great year but there isn't much room for growth in his prices even with a great year.

Yeah, I'm debating on whether to sell them... Maybe he will show out in preseason and then that will be the time to sell?

SELL WHILE THE IRON IS HOT....
Rookie year for most players is the most value you will ever get out of their card.

Rotoworld just posted that Blount is their #1... If that changes any opinions. That could change, but who knows!

Compare Doug Martin prices to Trent Richardson prices. Room to grow. I am actively buying.

But if you read the rest of the article:
It means little other than the fact that hard-nosed coach Greg Schiano isn't ready to name a rookie a starter before he plays so much as a preseason snap. Martin has dominated first-team reps in camp, and there's no reason to believe Blount has cured his ball-security woes or improved his pass protection. It wouldn't be surprising if the chart was updated soon after Friday's exhibition debut. We fully expect Martin to dominate touches and be the Bucs' top back.
Still seems like Doug Martin is the favorite there...

I know, I was just saying, they will probably get the same amount of touches in the first few preseason games. I'd hold until he becomes the full time starter, but that's just me.

The first depth charts mean nothing usually. Redskins have Tim Hightower at the top of the depth chart but he's yet to practice this year. You have to watch the preseason games to know for sure how its going to go

Blount did his best work when he was coming up as a short yardage back. Plenty of room for Martin to get a lot of work, Blount might become a TD vulture however.

Hold til the season. Teams dont draft rb's in the first round to have them sit on the bench. He will be starting.

I would hold, atleast let his stock rise with some preseason games.

I agree with this ^^^ but I wonder how much higher his cards can really go though... Right now I have about 12 of his Autographs, but I'm wanting to pick up more. Don't know at these prices though.

I would hold. His prices are gaining steam, but nothing compared to what they could be if he is a ROY contender.
However, if you have a "R" Letterman, by all means SELL!......to me:)

I pulled a couple autos and sold/traded but if Blount hasnt fixed his ball handling skills Martin is in there, if you can make $ or trade for pc do it but I can see him continue to rise also if they get to the playoffs

I think the bucs will lean on the rbs during these games to limit the touches of those qbs more so then to get into a qb dual. I don't see those matchups as a bad thing necessarily

the Blount injury makes Martin's stock go up even higher! :D
