I bought the Kobe finest rookie on the right off of ebay a few days ago. When I put it next to the finest rookie I already had, I noticed that it was gold bordered verses bronze. Anyone have any info on these gold bordered Kobe Finest rookies. Are they different from the base rookie? More valuable? etc.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Definitely more valuable (Beckett HV is $40 on the bronze and is $150 for the gold). The number on back of card is different too. The bronze is #74 whereas the gold is #269.

Actually, the number on the back is the same. Card 269 is the Heirs gold card.

"gold" is fading bronze. So your card is not actually not in a good condition.

Then why does beckett have a card 74A - gold border...book value is N/A?

From beckett:

1996-97 Finest #74 Kobe Bryant B RC - $40.00
1996-97 Finest #74a Kobe Bryant Gold Border - n/a

im gonna have to disagree, border looks gold and the kobe image looks to have similar tone which wouldnt be the case if the gold was a faded bronze card.
