A case of 2007 Topps Chrome or a case of 2007 UD Artifacts?

Are you open to other suggestions? :)

if its only between those two i'd buy a book on stocks and roll the money into that... which is what i personally should have done a long time ago LOL

yeah i am open to other suggestions, i just like the look of topps chrome but artifacts has a lot of game used cards. But what would you suggest and why?

It all depends on what you are looking for I suppose. If you simply are purchasing what you like to collect then buy what you like. However, if you are buying to sell some or all of the cards I think that a few boxes of 2007 Donruss Elite Extra Edition or a case of 2007 Bowman Draft would be a much better route since you will be able to easily sell the cards.

Donruss is a little bit out of my price range. Ill probably check out bowman. Im still going to buy a case of topps chrome or artifacts.

Do you know if certain products tend to have hot boxes in their cases or is it just random?

There are a few products (like 2007 Donruss Elite EE) that guarantee hot boxes in a case. Although a certain product may not guarantee hot boxes, you still can possibly "beat the odds" by pulling more autos, game used, etc. than expected. However, you can also (with any product) get "cold boxes" that don't deliver the number of inserts expected.

Thanks for the info, do you know why topps chrome doesn't put any game used in their product?

I don't know why they don't, but there are very few chrome releases that have ever put game used in their products.

If your looking to put a large hole in your pocket, both those products are equally great :)
You'd be lucky if you were able to sell anything from either of those products.
If your just looking to collect a set & file them in a card book with those plastic pages, go for topps chrome. If you like to collect game-used cards with tiny pieces of unoriginal relic pieces than go for artifacts.
May i ask why those two, in my opinion, crap products came to mind? I'm just curious.
If you can tell me a price range that your willing to spend and what you are looking for in a product, I can help point you in the right direction. Are you a set builder, RC investor, relic/auto collector or a high dollar thrill seeker?

I like to build sets, and collect rookies. Do you mean the pieces that UD Artifacts use are fake? I would like to spend under a thousand build my set and sell whatever I have duplicates of.

What referring to 'unoriginal' i mean the relic window. With the exception of their high-dollar premium products, In my opinion Upper Deck hasn't been doing such a great job with their memorabilia cards. They need to get more creative.
I would suggest Topps Heritage or Bowman Chrome

There are probably people still waiting for Topps to redeem that card.

Great suggestion but I think you should save your money another couple of years and pick up '09 Bowman Draft when it comes out. I got a hunch there'll be something big on this one...:flex:
