It looks like its authenticated by JSA so you are good. But it should have been slabbed instead of having the hologram stuck on it.

Is there a number on the hologram? You should prob be able to look it up on their website..

I like the sticker idea if a card is for my PC and I want to put it in an album. However if/when it gets to the point of selling I will slab the card.

1. Compare any suspect card/auto against other cards that are similar.
2. take some time and learn about certain products. Topps Rookie Premiere cards/Aflac cards have been notoriously counterfeited. Or autographs have been added to player distributed cards and signed at a later date. These are usually missing the "Topps Certified Signature" banner that differentiates Pack loaded cards and Player issue cards.
3. if you have a question, PM friends for a 2nd opinion or create a thread and cross your fingers for constructive feedback.

That Rose is definitely real. I am not an authenticator, but I collect autographs on a pretty large scale and I have gotten Rose's autograph myself 8-10 times at games and other public appearances. That auto definitely has the key characteristics of an authentic Rose.
Having said that, I do often see items that have been authenticated by third party authenticators that have significant issues that should raise some red flags. Just because it has a JSA sticker, it's not always real. PSA is better at spotting the fakes in my opinion. And GAI is a total joke - never buy anything authenticated by them.

thanks that's what i have been trying to do, I'm just not as good at spotting fakes, and I'm learning that the cheats of the hobby are real good at forging autos

[B]many autos on ebay are fake, it is a crap shoot, you have to buy auto cards only, you have a rose auto on a low numbered patch card, jsa sticker, do you have the jsa coa?
personally i do not trust spence and his band of criminals, he is blind as a bat and his team is full of criminals and fraudsters, spence was fired from psa/dna for authenticating fake autos too often, he authenticates autos when he knows they are fake, too
total douche, js
forgery is an art, and there are a lot of artists, so you got to trust your gut, too good to be true almost always is, coa or not, some autos look real and are not, you have to play the odds, buy only auto cards authenticated by topps, upper deck, panini, and a short list of other legit companies/B]
